Stephani really helped me to make educated choices about my birth and to feel way more comfortable about having my first baby. I had other plans for my birth, and even though they didn’t work out the way I had envisioned, Stephani was still there every step of the way with me to face new challenges during my labor. She also went out of her way to come to my house when my baby was transverse and taught me some exercises that helped get her into place. Not only was she an amazing doula, but truly a great friend to have by my side. I will always recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing doula!

Hiring Stephani as our doula was one of the best decisions we made for our first pregnancy and birth experience. My husband and I were both new to labor and delivery, and we were hoping for an unmedicated birth while also wanting extra support and guidance throughout the process. We especially appreciated Stephani’s background in exercise science and how knowledgeable and practical she was during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
One thing that really stood out to us was how balanced and supportive she was about birth preferences. While we were hoping to avoid an epidural, we appreciated that Stephani was never rigid or judgmental about it. She talked through the realities of labor in such a calm, practical way and helped us feel confident that whatever decisions needed to be made in the moment would be okay.
Her labor and delivery prep sessions earlier in pregnancy were incredibly helpful, especially for my husband. We wanted him to feel empowered and supported too, and Stephani did an amazing job helping him understand how to support me while also giving him reassurance and validation throughout the process.
When labor started, my husband texted Stephani early in the morning and she responded immediately. She came to our house at 5am, helped us figure out when it was truly time to head to the hospital, and once we arrived, she helped us get settled quickly — even making sure our car got parked safely while we got checked in. Once we were in the room, she immediately created such a calming environment with lights and getting the bath ready, which was especially appreciated because my labor ended up being very fast.
During labor, Stephani provided amazing physical support while also intentionally stepping back at times to let my husband take the lead. She made us feel completely in control of our own birth experience while still offering expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it. She also captured photos and videos throughout labor and delivery that I absolutely treasure.
After we brought our baby home, Stephani continued checking in and supporting us. She also connected me with a fantastic lactation consultant, which ended up being incredibly helpful postpartum.
We truly cannot recommend Stephani enough. Having her by our side made us both feel more confident, supported, and cared for throughout the entire experience.

I absolutely loved having Stephani as my doula. She took the time to know what my birth plan was and helped me to achieve the birth that I wanted. I wish I would’ve had her for my first labor; it could’ve been so much better! Stephani helped relieve so much pain using counter pressure and encouraged me to use the bathtub which helped so much! She made both my husband and me feel a lot more confident about when to go to the hospital and eased a lot of our stress so we absolutely loved having her and will be using her in the future!!

Stephani is absolutely incredible. She has such a calming, grounding, peaceful presence and approaches birth in that same calm, peaceful, grounding way. She is knowledgeable, passionate, and empowering. I truly don’t think my birth experience would have been the same without her!
I was having my 4th baby, but after 3 inductions and 3 epidurals with my other kids (all fine experiences), I wanted my last birth to be different. Stephani was the one who gave me the courage to look into going unmedicated. She told me her own birth stories, recommended providers, and constantly offered her support and expertise.
When I was pregnant, she came to my house and taught me about what to expect in labor. I had never gone into labor on my own before, so it was really helpful to know what it might be like and how I could cope. She taught my husband counter pressure, taught me stretches and exercises I could do to make sure baby was in a good position, and gave countless helpful tips!
When I went a week overdue and was feeling discouraged, I texted Stephani and she dropped everything to support me. She gave me a foot massage, a scalp massage, showed me different positions to help the baby settle into my pelvis. We talked about the need to just surrender and let go of any expectations or control. I went into labor that same night, just hours after being with Stephani. I truly think her helping me change my mindset was what relaxed me enough to go into labor!
I texted her as soon as I went into labor, and she was right there with me every step of the way. She was SO incredibly helpful in every way—knowing if my water really had broken or if I had peed my pants, coaching me through contractions, knowing when it was time to go to the hospital, how to get through the car ride while in labor, how to cope with contractions, knowing my options about pushing positions, etc. I could go on and on! Her knowledge was SO HELPFUL.
Honestly though, the best thing about Stephani is knowing that she’s got your back. She checked in on me frequently, during pregnancy, around my due date, of course when I was in labor, and postpartum. I felt carried by her through this incredible birth experience. I will recommend her to anyone and everyone I know! Everyone should feel loved and supported and carried through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum like I did. I feel emotional writing this review—that’s how you know your doula changed your life! ❤️

As a first time mom I am so incredibly grateful we chose Stephani as our doula. We met at a coffee shop and hit it off right away. She has such a sweet and calming presence about her. She has a way of making you feel like you've been friends for years. She came over twice before I gave birth to prepare my husband and me for what birth was going to be like, and taught us techniques on how to handle contractions. After she left our place the second evening I felt so confident about giving birth I told my husband I wanted to go into labor that night. (That didn't happen lol.)
Stephani was there any time I needed her. I texted her in the middle of the night one evening because I wasnt sure what my cramping was. She got back to me that night when she should have been asleep and then she checked on me the whole next day.
When my water broke she met us at the hospital and stayed with me while I labored for 2 days. It was an emotionally and physically tough labor. She was there for it all, answered any and all questions I had. Did what she could to get my contractions going, and was absolutely the calm in the storm. I am so so thankful to have had her there with me those very long 2 days. When things got stressful she got on her knees with my husband and me and prayed with us. That meant more to me than any sort of stretching or exercise or birthing ball and looking back now, it's my favorite part of that long labor. I'll hold on to that memory for the rest of my life.
She even came over after birth to help me process everything that happened. I absolutely needed her. She's a total God send.
She was emotionally, physically, and spiritually what I needed to get through that birth. I would recommend Steph to anyone looking for a doula. She became family to me. I just adore her and will be using her again should I be so blessed.
