About me

I am an experienced birth doula who has supported many mothers and families through pregnancy and birth. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, which shapes the way I support labor—especially through understanding how babies navigate the pelvis and how movement and positioning can make a real difference. I support both mothers and fathers as they prepare for and move through birth together. I’m also a mother of four, and I spent nine years living in Boise, where much of my experience and passion for birth work grew.

As a first time mom I am so incredibly grateful we chose Stephani as our doula. We met at a coffee shop and hit it off right away. She has such a sweet and calming presence about her. She has a way of making you feel like you've been friends for years. She came over twice before I gave birth to prepare my husband and me for what birth was going to be like, and taught us techniques on how to handle contractions. After she left our place the second evening I felt so confident about giving birth I told my husband I wanted to go into labor that night. (That didn't happen lol.) Stephani was there any time I needed her. I texted her in the middle of the night one evening because I wasnt sure what my cramping was. She got back to me that night when she should have been asleep and then she checked on me the whole next day. When my water broke she met us at the hospital and stayed with me while I labored for 2 days. It was an emotionally and physically tough labor. She was there for it all, answered any and all questions I had. Did what she could to get my contractions going, and was absolutely the calm in the storm. I am so so thankful to have had her there with me those very long 2 days. When things got stressful she got on her knees with my husband and me and prayed with us. That meant more to me than any sort of stretching or exercise or birthing ball and looking back now, it's my favorite part of that long labor. I'll hold on to that memory for the rest of my life. She even came over after birth to help me process everything that happened. I absolutely needed her. She's a total God send. She was emotionally, physically, and spiritually what I needed to get through that birth. I would recommend Steph to anyone looking for a doula. She became family to me. I just adore her and will be using her again should I be so blessed.

I had Stephani as my doula for my second birth. I was hoping to achieve an unmedicated birth this time and together we did it! I felt very informed on the labor process after our prenatal visits and was even excited for the labor and birth. I am so grateful to have found Stephani and achieved my dream birth!
