We had Mariah as our Doula after our original Doula was out of town, but I wouldn't change a thing. I truly believe that God made it work out exactly how it needed to. She showed up in early labor after having never met her before, and she instantly ushered in the spirit of the Lord and made me feel at ease. She helped me make decisions when I wasn't able to, suggested what she thought would be best to get contractions to speed up, talked with me about my worries and fears, spoke the word of God over me, even made me laugh during contractions, and made me feel peace that I didn't know was possible in labor. I have nothing but the absolute best to say about Mariah, and even my husband was beyond pleased with how well she took care of me and our son. We love you and are so beyond thankful you were part of one of the best days of our live!

Mariah was such a gift to us during the birth of our second daughter. She came early to set up our room to make sure it was inviting and relaxing. She continued to support us in ways I didn't realize we needed like grabbing us food and water throughout labor. Mariah also took photos for us and they were absolutely STUNNING! Mariah is a phenomenal doula and a truly caring human being. After a traumatic first birth, having her by my side for my VBAC was an absolute game changer. Despite complex risk factors, including a previous c-section and a history of preeclampsia, Mariah provided the education and preparation my husband and I needed to feel equipped to have as natural and as smooth of a labor as possible this second time around. She helped us navigate our decisions and kept the environment as stress-free as possible. Even when we were thrown a major curveball with a repeat diagnosis of severe pre-e, Mariah supported us wholeheartedly. After 39 hours of labor, I successfully had a VBAC and welcomed my baby girl.
Mariah was prepared with everything needed to make the hospital room feel relaxing, helping me remain confident and comfortable. She was fantastic at coaching my husband on how to participate while knowing when to step in herself. Despite my slow progress, compounded by the magnesium used to treat my pre-e, she remained patient and steadfast in her pursuit to help me achieve the birth I wanted. I am so grateful to have had her on my team and deeply cherish the beautiful photos she took to commemorate the experience.
Between her background in both hospital and home births and her personal experience advocating for her family members, Mariah had the exact mindset I needed present during this birth. She was such an impactful part of my journey. I recommend her to any woman who wants a doula who is 1000% on your team and willing to pour her heart into helping you achieve the birth you deserve.

I don't even know where to begin to explain how amazing it was working with Mariah. When we found out we were expecting our second baby we knew we wanted to have a home birth. Our first was born in a hospital without a doula, so I knew this would be a very different experience and I really wanted a doula to support me through my birth. I asked the midwife I was working with if she had any recommendations for doulas who would be a good fit for me, and she gave me a list of a few and Mariah was one of them. Which that in itself says a lot, I really trusted my midwife's judgment, so I reached out to Mariah, and we set up a consultation visit. I had a few other appointments set with different doulas but after meeting with Mariah I had to cancel them because I just knew I wanted to work with Mariah right away! My husband wasn't fully on board with hiring a doula as he didn't really understand what they helped with, but after our birth he was so happy that we hired Mariah to support us through such a beautiful home birth- and I know it felt that way largely because of how Mariah guided us through the entire birth. The night I went into labor I texted Mariah, and she came super quickly, she set everything up so beautifully for us, and helped me with different positions, different pain management techniques, and most importantly to me she helped guide my husband to support me as well. After birth Mariah made me a delicious meal, and made sure everything was set up for me to have a good and smooth postpartum experience. She is such a sweet and amazing human being- and not to mention her birth photography is amazing!!! I'd definitely recommend hiring her to photograph your birth as well as her being your doula- those are photos I will cherish for the rest of my life. Mariah was such a blessing to our family and I'd highly recommend her to any mama! I am a 4th time mama and we've had a doula at every birth because we know the value that a doula brings to a labor experience and environment. Upon meeting with her for the first time my husband and I knew she was exactly who we wanted by our side in one of the most sacred, beautiful, and vulnerable experiences of our life because of her peaceful presence and conviction she carries behind the beauty of the birthing process. Her careful attention to detail, always anticipating our needs and thinking a couple steps ahead allowed us to be truly present in our labor. Mariah had great tools that aided me in my coping, maintained the environment I wanted while laboring, and also communicated exactly what we wanted and didn't want with medical personnel which allowed my husband and I to continue to stay present with each other and our birth. She played a big role on why this was my best natural birth yet. I'd recommend her to any laboring couple because a doula is just as important in supporting the partner of the laboring mama and my husband was so grateful to have her knowledge and support. It is evident that this is a calling that she's walking in and I love seeing how vested she is in growing her skills and knowledge to bring the greatest value she can to any of her families she serves.

I am not sure I have all the words to express how much my care with Mariah ment to us! This was my 4th birth, but first time having Mariah as my Doula. During labor she was supportive and attentive to anything I needed. After labor, she thought of everything when it came to setting things up in a way that truly made it easy to care for myself and our daughter without having to get up. Things you think you would know as a fourth time mom, I didnt even think of. She captured incredible photos of our birth and postpartum that I will forever cherish. We are so grateful for her!
