About me

Hey beautiful mamas! I’m Shay Crowther, co-founder of RootedBirth Doulas and a DONA-certified birth doula. I’ve always been fascinated by birth, motherhood, and the incredible strength of women. My passion for birth work grew through my 8+ years as a pediatric dental assistant specializing in oral ties, where I saw firsthand the impact they can have on infant development and breastfeeding journeys. I love supporting and advocating for moms as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. One of the most rewarding parts of being a doula is helping women feel informed, confident, and fully in control of their own journey into motherhood. I’m honored to walk alongside families during such a transformative season and help them feel supported every step of the way.

Hi beautiful families! I specialize in first time moms but help all moms no matter what number kiddo this is for you! I offer a birth support package and am willing to help in any other additional way you may need. I am open from the moment we connect for questions and calls when they may come up. I am so excited to potentially support you along this journey.
