We were fortunate enough to get one of the best night nurses out there. Nancy was incredible. From the first interaction over the phone, we felt totally comfortable with her. The first night she arrived and immediately sparked conversation around baby, and our dogs! She was so gentle, thoughtful, and without a doubt a life saver to my husband and I. We cannot recommend this service enough to families that are in the trenches. Nancy was there to guide me through uncertainties and was a positive light I didn't realized I'd need. Misty is THE BEST! I was in Kansas City for a wedding, and had three wedding events to go to in one weekend. It was my first time leaving my baby alone with someone, and my anxiety was a bit elevated just thinking about it. But Misty walked in and she had the most amazing caretaker, kind energy. You could tell right away she was an expert doula and loves what she does. I think even though our time together was brief, she truly loved my daughter while we were in town. When I first spoke with Samantha Moore from KC Newborn Care, I knew that she would find someone perfect to help our family - and she 100 % did! Having Amanda Lowe help our family was the best investment my husband made for our newborn son AND for ourselves. Amanda provides excellent overnight care, but she also does SO more than that. As first-time parents, there were so many things about newborn life and development that my husband and I didn’t know. The knowledge and support that Amanda provided was crucial to us feeling secure and confident in our newfound parenting skills. This really came to light when our son, who is formula fed, developed a milk-protein allergy (to the point where he had blood in his stool) and needed to switch formulas right away. Amanda identified the problem, encouraged me to communicate with my pediatrician, and helped transition our son to a new formula. Amanda has also been there for me, a first-time mom, as a crucial support person. There is no better example of this than how Amanda - before she even technically started working with our family - received a panicked phone call from me while I was in labor with questions about formula feeding our son (Amanda talked me through everything and eased my anxiety)! At this point, I truly feel like Amanda is a member of our family, and I have recommended her services to every pregnant friend and family member I have!

KC Newborn Care has been an absolute godsend for our family. Shortly after delivery, I experienced an unexpected health emergency and had to be hospitalized during my postpartum recovery.
