About me

Hello! My name is Lindsay. I'm a certified birth and traditional postpartum doula in Utah County and have been supporting families since 2017. I believe pregnancy, birth, and new parenthood are physical events, and also deeply emotional and spiritual ones—a great becoming. Because of this, my work is mother-centered, and blanketed in ritual and ceremony. You deserve to be held and witnessed. When I'm not working with postpartum families, you'll find me spending time with my three children, dreaming about traveling the world, and singing and knitting with my community.

Lindsay truly made our birthing experience so much more sacred, special, and meaningful than I could have imagined. We hired her to help both my husband and I navigate this transition better than we had in the past (this was our third child), and she did just that. But she provided so much more than that! She met with us throughout my pregnancy and helped us be intentional about what we wanted -- fully and unconditionally supporting us each step of the way. Because of that, we both deeply loved this birth. We felt prepared and empowered to make this birth what we wanted. Lindsay has many gifts that make her an especially gifted doula -- she brings a positive, calm energy. She was good at encouraging me to stand up for myself without pushing any agenda. I felt really seen and celebrated in vulnerable moments. She was also very good at education. I learned a lot from her and she consistently provided me with reliable research when I had questions. She clearly is an expert at birth! She was responsive, kind, and thoughtful! She also sent us a timeline of my labor and birth after the fact--this was so meaningful to me. I could not recommend Lindsay more! I wish I could have had her at every one of my births.

I would highly recommend this course if you're looking for a birth prep class that goes beyond just "how to push" and pain coping techniques and into mental and spiritual preparation for labor, birth and parenthood. Lindsay is knowledgeable, warm, and sensitive. She provides a safe place to explore beliefs, fears, and hopes for labor, and beyond. This course is also excellent for partners! My husband thoroughly enjoyed the course and I imagine we'll take it again for subsequent pregnancies.

I took a weekly prenatal yoga class from Lindsay through the second half of my pregnancy. It was the highlight of my week! I always looked forward to those evenings: Lindsay’s voice and manner are so soothing and relaxing; i could listen to her talk all day! The structure of her prenatal yoga class so intentional and connected to a central concept or theme related to birth, letting go, trusting your body and your baby, etc. I especially appreciated how she created an open and inviting space for anyone who attended. Because the classes were small, she was able to tailor the practice to the needs of the people who were there, sometimes offering very specific stretches to address the unexpected pregnancy side effects. I love love love Lindsay and her weekly class is the one thing I miss about being pregnant! If you work with her as part of your pregnancy and birthing experience, you can trust you’ll be in good hands.

Lindsay was my doula for the birth of my second child and I'm so glad we were able to work together. She has a calming, kind energy and was so supportive and patient with all of my questions and concerns. She was conscious to include my partner in our sessions and he felt so confident and capable to be able to help in the delivery room as a result. I felt so empowered and confident in my birthing experience and Lindsay helped me have the birthing experience I wanted. Many of the hospital staff & the birth photographer commented on the palpable feelings of love and connection in the delivery room and I think that was only possible because of how prepared and in control we felt of what was happening. Lindsay is also skilled with sound healing and I was able to do a session before the arrival of my baby. It was such a grounding, beautiful experience. 100/10 recommend Lindsay and her services. She is awesome!

Lindsay is just amazing. I have done one on one and group sound sessions with her and they have all been wonderful experiences. She truly creates safe spaces for people and is so gifted at what she does. As a fellow birth worker I get to interact with her regularly and I would recommend her to anyone.

My pregnancy and delivery would not have been wonderful experiences without these two amazing ladies! They steered me towards inspiring resources and were always on hand to answer panicked messages. They helped me re-center myself and find acceptance when it became clear that I needed to have a c-section instead of the vaginal birth for which I had been preparing. I think everyone would benefit from a doula, but especially benefit from this wonderful duo!

I’ve been to Lindsay for sound bath therapy. I cannot overstate how incredible it has been. She Is a good listener, intuitive, gentle, and wise. Each time she has transported me from a place of deep emotional pain and trauma to a state of such deep relaxation that I felt truly like a new person. Highly recommend for anyone with trauma or going through significant transitions in their lives. It’s also just a completely lovely experience even if you are doing okay. You’re in good hands.

Lindsay was a great doula and I would recommend anyone looking for a doula in the area to consider having her on your birth team! She is patient, gentle, kind, and knowledgeable. She supports you through pregnancy, birth/delivery, and postpartum. She gave me and my husband confidence as we started our family. She helps empower you to make your own decisions on birth day and gives you opportunities to voice your opinions. She stayed with me and my husband for 11+ hours that day and was helpful every minute, especially as I was planning an unmedicated birth and labor and I was kind of crazy, haha! She definitely helped me and my exhausted husband throughout the whole experience. She doesn't judge you for your decisions, but empowers you. She is kind and supportive. I can't recommend her enough!

I have attended a few of Lindsay's gentle flow group yoga sessions. She has a keen attention to detail in her instruction and in her interaction with others. She remembered me by name and felt like a dear friend even though I did not know her well. She knows how to create a safe place for her students. Lindsay's classes were both challenging and relaxing and I would highly recommend her.

Lindsay is such an incredible doula. She is so organized, knowledgeable, kind, gentle and caring. Having her at my home birth after having a cesarean with my first was 100% crucial. Even right after the birth my partner said hiring her as our doula was probably one of the best decisions we could have made. She was there for me throughout pregnancy and postpartum to answer any questions I had come up, and was there for me without question. I felt so supported and safe having her there for the birth experience. She intuitively knows what to do in the moment, and it shows. After this birth experience I recommend everyone have a doula at their birth. And having Lindsay there for before, during and after is an excellent decision.

Lindsay is a wonderful, wonderful doula. She is so supportive and knowledgeable about all things birth and babies, and was a calming and helpful resource all throughout my first pregnancy. She was patient with all my random questions and helped me navigate birth planning and making some unexpected decisions in regards to birthing during a pandemic! At my home birth, she provided loving support and helped me to feel empowered and strong. We love Lindsay as a person and a doula! Highly recommend.

Lindsay is one of the calmest, most grounding teachers I have taken a yoga class from. She is always well prepared and has so much knowledge. I feel so safe in her classes.

Choosing Lindsay as our doula was one of the best decisions we made in our birth journey. She is an incredibly unique and caring soul, and my husband and I are thrilled to have met her. I was reminded repeatedly over the course of my pregnancy that things rarely, if ever, go according to plan. I hoped for an unmedicated water birth, but ended up with a medical induction at 37 weeks. As first time parents, this change was overwhelming and a little scary. Lindsay was there for us every step of the way. She was incredibly supportive with this sudden change and helped us process it emotionally and feel prepared. During the birth, she was a rockstar. She worked extremely well with my husband and helped him find ways to be involved and was there when he had to sit down or disengage when he got a little queasy (he doesn’t do well with blood/needles). I highly recommend hiring Lindsay for your birth!

Lindsay is amazing! She offers great services and is willing to offer whatever you need that is unique to you. She was so supportive in all of my decisions and helped me look at birth in a positive way no matter what happened. I was able to have an incredible birth experience and Lindsay was so integral in that! She made me feel validated, supported, and comforted. Highly recommend her to anyone wanting/needing a positive pregnancy and birth experience!

Lindsay was a truly valuable part of our birth experience! She was prepared with valuable information and insights catered to us in all of our visits leading up to the birth and she took good notes on things that I wanted in my birth plan that she was able to remind me during labor. These included specific relaxation cues and techniques that I forgot about in the moment but that made all the difference when I was actually in labor. She was also really effective with the little things that made a big difference: she thought about creating an ambiance in the delivery room that helped me relax, she was there to grab a cold towel for my head when I was pushing, there to pour water over me when I was trying to relax in the tub, had a constant, calming presence. She also helped my husband know what to do and how to be supportive which is what we both wanted. Lindsay was also respectful of my desires and change of plans. My initial plan was to do my whole labor and delivery completely natural but I decided to have an epidural when I was dilated to a 6. She was helpful in making that decision while reminding me of other things we could try before I went that route (which is what I wanted her to do, as per our birth plan) and she was no less valuable for the rest of my labor and delivery! I felt safe and cared for with her there and she helped me truly relax and focus when it came time to deliver our son--I only pushed for 30 minutes! I am a first time mom and I think having had the experience I would be up for trying to do natural again for our next baby and Lindsay would be my first choice to help moderate that experience! She was awesome and had a great, approachable, down to earth personality that my husband and I could instantly feel comfortable around. I'd have no hesitation recommending her!
