Hi! I'm Ashlee! Native of Utah County and mom of 4. From a young age I had an interest in birth and all things babies. This led me to complete my medical assisting certification in high school and take a job with Utah Valley Pediatrics in the late spring of 2001. After working there for a little over 23 years I decided to become certified as a birth and postpartum doula! Birth is powerful, and so are you. As your doula, I’m here to walk beside you — offering knowledge, advocacy, and heartfelt support as you make the choices that feel best for you and your family. I believe education creates empowerment, and that every parent deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported through their prenatal, birth and postpartum experiences.

Birth Doula Support During pregnancy, we’ll meet for two personalized prenatal sessions (about two hours each). Partners are encouraged to attend, as we work together as a team to prepare for birth. I support a wide range of birth experiences, including medicated and unmedicated births, planned and unplanned cesareans, and VBACs. While I can’t promise a specific outcome, I do offer unbiased, evidence-based guidance so you can make informed decisions with confidence. Prenatal support may include creating birth preferences, practicing comfort measures and labor positions, exploring the mental and emotional aspects of labor, nutrition and movement guidance, basic breastfeeding or pumping education, and preparing for postpartum with a personalized plan. Beginning at 38 weeks, I’m on call until your baby arrives. During labor and birth, I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support, followed by 1–2 hours of in-person support after birth to help you settle in and support early feeding if desired. A trusted backup doula is always available at no additional cost. After birth, I offer 1–2 in-home postpartum visits to check in, reflect on your birth experience, support feeding, provide newborn care guidance, and connect you with additional resources as needed. Postpartum Doula Support The postpartum period is a sacred window for healing, rest, and bonding. My postpartum care is intuitive and heart-centered, designed to nurture and support you as you recover and grow in confidence as a parent. Postpartum support may include feeding support, emotional and physical recovery guidance, newborn care, nourishing meal preparation, gentle household help, errands, referrals to trusted providers, and overnight care to support restorative rest. Each visit is tailored to what feels most supportive that day—whether that’s quiet rest, reassurance, nourishment, or hands-on help. Extended daytime and overnight postpartum support is also available. Customizable packages available to fit your personal needs ranging from $500-$2000
