Hello, I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to reach out and ask whether your doulas are in-network with TRICARE or if you have experience working with TRICARE reimbursement for doula services. I also wanted to confirm whether your doulas are certified through DONA International. We are currently looking for a doula for our first delivery at the Annapolis Birthing Center this September, and we are excited to learn more about your services and support options. Thank you in advance for your time and help. I look forward to hearing from you! Best, Sarah
I am giving birth in the midwifery unit of the hospital and would like an extra person there (besides my husband) who is able to support and advocate my needs when I might not be able to. My labor and delivery is going to be as natural and low intervention as it can be. Our budget would ideally be no more than $2,000 I think.
I plan to give birth at home or at a birthing center via a tub birth. I need a provider with a certification that meets Tricare's requirements, speaks English, and has at least a year of experience. I do not have a budget estimation but have seen that Tricare does cover a doula and a midwife. I have Tricare Reserve Select.
