Baby recently started breastfeeding at 4 weeks old. She was formula only due to premature and weight loss issues. Then she received breast milk via bottle and now that she passed her birth weight we began breastfeeding. First a few sessions a day, now solely breastfeeding. My left breast has a strong let down. Baby pulls off, chokes, cries. Milk leaks everywhere. I want to be able to help her.

In need of a lactation consultant to prescheduled for home visit post partum day one or two Need assistant findings a birth doula, please Delivering at Cedars SInai
I’m looking to schedule postpartum home visits for support with breastfeeding and to learn the basics of newborn care. As a first-time mom, I’d love some hands-on guidance to help me feel more confident caring for my baby. I’m hoping to find someone who accepts Kaiser insurance with no out of pocket costs for me.
I’m planing to give birth at Providence St Joseph hospital in Burbank. It would not be my first choice as I was hoping for a home birth. Unfortunately, I was laid off last year and have been unable to find work. I’m hoping to find support covered by medi-cal. I would like my birth to be unmediated and with as little intervention as possible. This is my first birth so I do feel a bit nervous. I would only like my husband and doula in the room (along with any necessary medial care team). I would like to be able to move freely and have help getting into positions that will help me through the various stages of labor. I’d also love to spend time in the bath. I want skin to skin right away and delayed cord clamping.
Lactation support for a second time breastfeeding mom who was not successful the first time.
Birth location: Queen of the Valley hospital in West Covina, CA Budget: unknown I want to aim for an unmediated birth Preferred language: English Aetna southern CA HMO
1. Home birth 2. 10000 3. Natural birth. I would like to have specialists, my partner, and my mom there. Calming music would be great. Skin to skin is important for me and my partner. I am a first time mom so having a lactation consultant would be important.
Hello, looking for help for 3-7 days (depending on price) for a couple hours a day to help my cousin with her baby. Baby was just born Dec 28 2025, and she’s really struggling mentally and with the baby. The baby is not sleeping well at all and she’s having trouble latching him on to breast feed. I want to provide her support, she feels like she is failing as a mom and I know what it’s like to feel that way (I work as active duty military and am a single mom so I can’t really take too much time to help her my self right now). Looking for someone kind and empathetic with experience and knowledge for a couple days to help reset and try to get the baby into a rhythm. Hopefully try to set up some type of sleeping arrangements to help her feel a little better and not so lost. TLDR: Post partum care, breast feeding issues, sleep training, light housekeeping just general support for her) My estimated budget is 3 hours a day, $20 an hour, for at minimal 3 days(180$ total) depending on if she’s comfortable I would like to make it a week (7days.) potential for $420.
Preparing to have an IBCLC that I can have available for breast feeding needs post-partum
Baby has excessive gas that keeps him up all night. He is breastfed and I am wondering if my latch is too shallow, let down is too fast or if there is something from breastfeeding causing this excessive gas. He is exclusively breastfed although we sometimes give him a pumped bottle. We burp him constantly, hold him upright after feeds, massage his tummy and do gas relieving exercises with him constantly. I also stopped eating dairy and stay away from gas inducing foods like broccoli, kale, etc. He is up every 30 mins to an hour at night.
Certified lactation consultant near me to address breastfeeding difficulties
