Hi, my name is Nicole Murphy. I live in Wilmington North Carolina and my husband is currently a service member in the army. He is doing some training in Georgia so I am looking for a doula who accepts tricare SELECT! I will be giving birth at Betty H. Cameron hospital here in Wilmington NC. I do have a history of cholestasis so I have been induced in the past (2) pregnancies. My BA levels have been good so far but I’m only 33 weeks pregnant right now so that could change for my birth plan. At this moment I would like to give birth naturally but if anything changes I will be induced around 37-38 weeks.

I have 2 daughters 5yo and 4yo. We are new to the state and i am worried no one will be able to watch them when I'm in labor. I would like to hire someone to stay with them during labor and deliver and possibly assist for the first few days after. This will allow my partner to stay with me as well

I plan on giving birth at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center. I plan to have a natural non medicated induction if possible, with the flexibility to change to medicated induction. I plan to use Hydrotherapy (warm baths or showers), Massage or counter pressure, Movement and position changes. Breathing and relaxation techniques. A birthing ball and Aromatherapy. To help induce labor naturally. I plan to use pain medication and possible epidural. The core idea is to start labor without medication while still having pain management. Immediately after birth, if medically appropriate; I would like to hold my baby with the cord attached for as long as possible. Or until placenta is birthed. I would like to continue to use pain medication for possible stitches and after birth pain if medically possible.

Wilmington NC is the closest nicest hospital, my budget is 1200$ paid by my insurance and I would like help on a birth plan . I will depend on my doula since I have other young children at home that their dad will look after during labor and delivery

I live in Little River, and I'm giving birth at McLeod Loris Hospital. I was hoping to see If any took Medicaid health insurance. I was also hoping they could help me with my birth plan.

I would do it in the hospital but I don’t want it to feel like I’m in the hospital, I don’t want the staff bombarding me and intervening every 5 seconds. I want to do it naturally, in better positions than what the hospital wants me to do… I’m not positive about all of the rest but I just want someone that’s going to vouch for me while I’m vulnerable and I fear my husband is too nice and they will walk all over him… I’m not even sure about an estimated budget but I do know I would need someone who takes tricare to help with the cost!

We are giving birth at Conway Hospital but live in Carolina Forest Area. We are first time parents so we want assistance and aid with newborn postpartum care. Someone to ask questions to, help with the baby at night, learn techniques for sleeping/breastfeeding.
