I would like guidance with comfort measures, breathing techniques, advocacy, and informed decision-making so that I feel confident and supported throughout the process. It is important to me that my birth space feels safe, peaceful, and empowering. Postpartum care is equally important to me. I am looking for check-ins, recovery support, and gentle guidance as I transition into motherhood. Lactation education and hands-on breastfeeding support are a priority, as I would like to feel confident and well-informed in nourishing my baby. Overall, I am seeking a doula who honors both the physical and emotional aspects of birth and who can help me feel centered, supported, and empowered during this transformative time.

Finding a doula for my labor and delivery at St. E’s I plan on laboring at home as long as humanely possible before going to the hospital. Planning for a physiological birth. Possibly looking into postpartum help for a few hours after delivery as well.

Hello, I plan to give birth university hospital Geauga medical center in Chardon, Ohio. This will be my second birth and my goal this time around is for a much more natural & holistic birth experience. I hope to have a spontaneous, low intervention, physiological birth and am looking for a doula to stand by me & my husband to advocate alongside us during delivery. I would like a doula that will be my advocate during the birthing process and help me with a natural unmedicated birth by positions, exercises, and breathing techniques. Also looking for a doula who is well trained in lactation to help support me and my baby with breastfeeding for the first time. I plan to give birth at SummaHealth hospital in Akron. I am still currently working on my birth plan so I could use help on that aspect as well, but I know I want to have an unmedicated natural birth. I am open to my budget but would like to keep it under $3,000. If possible I would like to use my insurance, if they accept doulas.

I plan to give birth at Mercy Hospital in Canton. First time mom with anxiety, adhd and likely autism while my partner is supportive and will be in the room he is kind of squeamish and not historically has not been the best in medical situations. He is a local truck driver but can be hours away during the day and the thought of going into labor/ at the hospital with out a support person terrifies me. He is also being laid off from his company in April (they are closing his branch) which means he won't qualify for FMLA and is at the mercy of whatever company he ends up being hired by in terms of leave for when baby comes and after. My ideal budget is no more than 1000 although I have seen prices a bit above that. As of right now my birth plan is minimal intervention and without pain meds. I really don't want to have an epidural specifically if it can be avoided...obviously baby/the birth experience can change things though.

We believe in God’s design for birth and wish to honor that as best we can. Our support person we had planned on having there unfortunately had to back out so now we are searching last minute for an available doula who can help foster the birth experience we are trying to achieve.
