Jamie Peters is a certified birth and postpartum doula with a passion for all things birth and baby. She’s a local mom of 4 with a caretaking background, who’s great at offering support to families both physically and emotionally along their journey from pregnancy, birth and into postpartum. You can expect compassionate, knowledgeable care from Jamie by your side in the delivery room or in the comfort of your home as you transition to the 4th trimester

As a doula and childbirth educator with over 20 years of experience, I have come to learn that compassionate support is the most important thing I bring to birth. Close to 1000 births matters. Having taught 1000s of couples in childbirth classes matters. But mostly what matters is that the person giving birth feels respected, listened to and supported by someone who is thinking about all possible options for you in an objective way. I believe in freedom of choice based on knowledge of the alternatives. I aim to increase confidence and decrease fear. Nicole works well with hospital staff, birth center staff, and home birth providers, viewing her role as a team member who helps create a calm and supportive birth environment. She maintains an unbiased approach to childbirth, providing families with education and information, and empowering them to speak up. Nicole brings a variety of tools to assist families in making the best decisions for themselves. She is an expert in the use of the birth sling and provides hands-on, loving care and physical support.
