Will be me and my husband and my mother in a quiet, dimly lit room. I envision a relaxing and patient, intentional labor, with movement and rest. Would love to have a positive, encouraging environment where I am allowed to ask questions and the midwives will be confident and reassuring, never rushing me.

I recently moved here and I'm 36 weeks pregnant. I'm looking for someone supportive of a more natural birth without interventions(if possible). I'm hoping for a home birth but also ok with a hospital birth as long as I can have a calm, quiet environment with very little staff around so I don't feel overwhelmed. I'm hoping for a waterbirth if possible. My budget would be $1000.

I am a first time mother preparing for the birth of my baby. I am in search of a midwife/doula for a holistic home birth.

I will be using a doula and hypnobirthing as well! I follow a plant-based diet as well and am looking for a provider who is supportive of that. I have a history of severe anxiety and PTSD and am looking to partner with provider, doula, and my long-time therapist to ensure I have a calm, fun, rewarding, and empowering birth experience. However, because of my anxiety and OCD, I still want to give birth in the hospital so that there is easy access to intervention if something goes wrong. That will give me peace of mind, but I'm looking to create a birth center-esque experience in the Women's Hospital, including the water birth!

Postpartum care for baby and mother with night time support

I plan to give birth at home I don't know what our budget is yet I don't really have a birth plan yet I don't even have evidence saying I'm pregnant. I have signs and symptoms. Extra weight. The nausea's not so bad now. My friends said they felt the baby moving. I went to a midwife in Georgia. Well the midwife center..anyways, the lady there that day said "I'm not the ultrasound technician. She's not in until tomorrow. But I could give it a go if you want me to." She did not know anything about the ultrasound machine. She rubbed the applicator on my stomach and didn't zoom in or anything. I swear I saw the gestational sac. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm having a phantom pregnancy. Or maybe I'm having a cryptic pregnancy. I've had two cryptic pregnancies in the past. I just need to know! For the sake of my sanity and that of my husband's. Please help.

I plan to give birth in a hospital and am hoping my insurance will cover the cost. I want to try to do a natural birth with no epidural and delayed cord cutting, besides that I need a little help creating the rest of a birth plan, as this is my first child and I’m not really sure what to expect.

I am hoping to have as natural of a birth as possible. Most likely a birthing center or hospital, as long as I can have a specific birth plan. I am also considering home birth. My budget is very low & it would have to be covered by insurance. Some things I would like in my birth plan are lights off or very low, my essential oil diffuser, low music, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin contact, water therapy, etc.

I would like to give birth at home as naturally as possible. My first birth was in a hospital and little traumatic. I am 35 so I know I’m considered higher risk but I don’t want the hospital atmosphere for my baby.

I’m in need of a obgyn, i’m currently in my second trimester and switched my insurance to medicade but can’t find a doctor that accepts in my area. i’m located in bradenton but am willing to drive farther if necessary, i just really want someone understanding that this is my first baby and i need more appointments to make sure there healthy. i plan on giving birth somewhere near bradenton or sarasota but im not sure which hospital. i dont have an estimated budget i have medicade insurance. my birth plan consists of having this baby naturally and having hopefully a doula or midwife to help me through it.

I would love the option to give birth at home. A water birth would be a dream come true! As far as a budget goes, I don’t even know what this normally would cost so I’ll say around $4k but there is flexibility to that if I’m being unrealistic. My birth plan would be to have my third, unmedicated birth in the comfort of our home with worship music playing, my two older daughters (6 & 12) nearby and my husband at my side.
