I'm still very unsure about all of these details and am looking to connect with a few different options to decide exactly what I want to do. I know I don't want to do it at home but think I want to do it at a birthing center as opposed to a hospital and I don't want an epidural.

I’m currently looking for a daytime postpartum doula to support us during the newborn stage. My primary goal is education and hands-on guidance, rather than household help or overnight care. Specifically, I’m hoping for support with: • Helping us understand our baby’s needs and cues • Interpreting different types of crying (hunger, tiredness, overstimulation, etc.) • Teaching us how to recognize sleep cues and manage wake windows • Providing personalized guidance based on our baby’s individual patterns, rather than a rigid schedule • Supporting communication within the family so everyone is aligned on newborn care I’m especially interested in a doula who focuses on parent coaching and newborn education, and who is comfortable teaching in real time while allowing parents and family members to practice hands-on.
Moral support for 1 st time mom
A Doula who is certified or has experience, and can provide support for baby while mom heals and transitions, is what we are looking for. We'd like someone who is prepared to do light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Feeding, changing, and sleep support for baby are needed. We'd like someone who is passionate about care and speaks English (additional languages are great too). We may need night and day support. Estimated budget is $20-$35 per hour
I’m currently considering adding to my birth team, looking for a postpartum doula. Ideally, someone witb a calm nervous system, that is comfortable in a small space, around animals to provide care such as, herbal nourishment, body work with warm oils, belly wrapping, etc. If attending the birth, I am looking for someone who can hold space, who is in tune with their energy, and emotionally support my husband. I will be a first time mom. I am 37. I do not Intend on having any medical interventions. I will not need help with my baby but am open to lactation classes. I intend to exclusively breastfeed. I am self educating by taking courses on physiologic birth and hypno-birthing. Birth does not scare me, postpartum does, a little.
