My journey into women’s health has been deeply personal. In walking through endometriosis, infertility, and the heartbreak of miscarriage, I encountered both the beauty and the brokenness of our healthcare system. While some providers listened with compassion and dignity, others left me feeling unseen and dismissed. I knew God was using these experiences to stir something deeper in me. I grew up Protestant and later entered the Catholic Church—a conversion that rooted me deeply in God’s design for the human body and His call for women to be supported in their vocations. This journey has only strengthened my mission: to provide compassionate, faith-rooted healthcare that sees the whole person—body, mind, and soul. Raised in Post Falls, Idaho, I’ve always had a love for movement. From competitive volleyball to mountain biking and snowboarding, my early years were filled with activity. It wasn’t until I discovered functional training that I truly grasped the power of strength—not just physically, but in resilience and freedom from pain. That transformation gave me a glimpse of the wholeness I now strive to share with every woman I serve. My deepest prayer is that each woman I meet encounters not only healing, but also the hope that comes from living fully in the vocation God has entrusted to her. ASCEND was born out of this passion and calling: to restore dignity to women’s healthcare, to walk with them through every season of life, and to remind them that their bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
