Amaniyah is one of the most beautiful souls I’ve encountered. She is the epitome of the name of her business, “Down to Earth”. She is relatable, confident in what she knows, eager to know more, patient, compassionate, understanding and the list goes on. She has been present with me through two of my pregnancies offering support in anyway she has been capable to do so. I’ve also witnessed her be an amazing mother which I believe encourages her to be such a phenomenal woman and birth worker. She has a heart for her work, herbal remedies and people and I would recommend her services 100%

I am more than happy to write a review today for this beautiful being. Angel attended my blessing way and it was such a pleasant experience. She assisted a sister of ours in this experience and I thought they knew each other for a lifetime how easily they worked together. Angel is naturally caring, gentle, and of service to others. It was wonderful to work with women whose energy is so comforting and authentic. I later had the opportunity to purchase placenta capsules Angel made for me. Everything was so neatly packaged and labeled. It was gorgeous. I am grateful for having worked with her and would do the same again if there's a service she offers and I need.

Where do I even begin?! Angel, aka Amaniyah, was an absolute GIFT to me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey! She was such an incredible source of support and truly played a huge role in helping me through a very difficult time in my personal life. She taught me so much and was especially encouraging when it came to breastfeeding and cloth diapering. I truly believe her guidance and support are a huge reason I had such a seamless experience with both. Angel is truly blessed at what she does, and I will forever be grateful that she was part of such a special chapter of my life. My birth experience was nothing short of amazing, and I truly believe having the right doula by my side made all the difference. After having my first baby in a hospital, this birth was a completely different experience. I was able to give birth the way I wanted, in the environment I wanted, surrounded by love, support, and people who genuinely believed in me. I cannot recommend Angel (The Down to Earth Doula) enough! From the beginning, she helped me feel prepared, supported, empowered, and confident in my ability to birth my baby. She didn't just show up for labor, she supported me throughout the entire journey and helped me prepare mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Very intentional doula for both of my babies. Acknowledges her clients and meets them where they are. Provides knowledge and a listening ear. Doesn’t see you as another number as most of these health professionals do. Would recommend the Down to Earth doula to every mother 10/10 service.

I have used Angel’s a.k.a. Amaniyah’s services throughout the years, from purchasing her wellness and herbal products to utilizing her services during my pregnancy and postpartum journey. After using her products years prior, I reached out to Angel as I was preparing for birth to gain holistic advice and support. She was not only very informative, but also incredibly patient in answering all of my questions. She continued to check in on me while I was laboring, encouraging me when I became unsure if my birth plan was going to go as planned. Her reassurance and support gave me the confidence boost I needed to stick to my plan—and I did just that. Angel followed up with me after delivery and even visited my home within the first week to assist wherever she could, including helping with things like dishes that I hadn’t gotten around to. I thought I didn’t need any additional help, but I was wrong. I was grateful for her ability to see and hear beyond my initial “I’m fine” or I can do it later”, while still allowing me the space to maintain my independence. She met me where I was rather than making me feel like I couldn’t do things for myself. She continued to check in with me throughout my postpartum period, and I was also able to schedule a phone call with her to receive additional advice and support for my postpartum needs. Angel was truly a blessing during such a vulnerable time for me. Her knowledge, compassion, and genuine care made a lasting impact on my experience. I am forever grateful for her support.

Her perspective and thoughtfulness allow you to see things differently and can ease any anxiety you may have. I experienced it firsthand. She is exactly what her name is. I received labor services, postpartum, and mom groups that included video calls and brunch (BUSSIN!!!). She was a great doula she gave me so much helpful advice during might pregnancy as well as made me a really good birth plan that the hospital had to follow which made me feel very comfortable. Right after my delivery she picked up my placenta from the hospital and encapsulated it and shipped me my capsules in the mail with nice packaging. I Highly recommend!
