This is my first birth. I live in Oak Park and plan to give birth at Loyola Hospital. I am hoping to have a medicated birth, but have [personal details hidden]. My husband and I are also looking for someone to help with the nighttime shift of our newborn when he arrives as my husband has to return to work 2 weeks after birth.

I really want to try to do this birth as natural as possible and is looking for someone who can provide the best support in that as possible. I’m looking for a provider who can give pain management positions and tools to help in a natural birth. I think having someone who can give my husband guidance as well would be helpful. I plan to give birth at Northwestern in Huntley, IL. My insurance gives doula coverage so I would love someone in the BCBS network.
