My family does support me, but they live a couple hours away, so they can’t always be here in person. I’m really looking for a doula who could provide some guidance, support, and reassurance through the rest of my pregnancy and during birth. Since this is my first baby, having someone experienced to help me understand what to expect and advocate for me would mean a lot. I had a miscarriage a few months ago, so I tend to feel anxious about any symptoms that I don’t feel or think are normal.
