I plan to give birth in a hospital setting. But I currently am in sure about which hospital I will be using. At the moment I will be going to Weatherford hospital. But we are moving to the outside of Jacksboro. I am not sure about a budget. I plan on having a natural birth and my goal is to do everything unmedicated. With this being my first time I am not sure. I know what I want for my baby and I just need help with what I want for myself.

I plan to give birth in Medicine Hat hospital. This with be my third time giving birth and after having complications with my first two births, I’m hoping to have someone there to advocate and speak up for me. I’m hoping to have minimal intervention from doctors/nurses - I believe being induced and frequent/unnecessary intervention (with my second which ended in emergency c-section) caused the complications. Being considered high risk now I feel like hospital staff will ignore my wants as they’ll feel they are doing what’s best. I am not totally sure about budget because I’m not sure what doulas usually cost!

I would like the option of giving birth at home or in a midwife facility but not a hospital. I would prefer someone who accepts my insurance of Humana healthy horizons. I want someone who has a very personal connection and will support my decisions during birth.

I plan to give birth at Mercy Hospital in North OKC. I am wanting an unmediated natural birth with no induction unless it is absolutely medically necessary. I am wanting my doula to support me in positioning and proper breathing techniques to alleviate pain during labor. I want the cord to be white and not pulsating before my husband clips it. I want the placenta to be delivered on its own. I want to labor at home as long as possible before heading to the hospital. I have Tricare Prime and have been told a doula will be covered.

Hello, I am new to OKC, we just had to move last minute for my husbands job. We have no friends or family in the area and are in need of some support and help with our little family. I have an 11 month old son and a daughter due any day. As well as 3 older children who are currently staying in TX with family. I will be having a hospital birth, C section at Integris Baptist due to medical issues and high risk pregnancy I am not interested in natural birth. I am looking for a doula to help attend the birth at the hospital and help with my 11 month old son so he can be there with us, he is not allowed in the operating room but would be joining us immediatley after. I am also needing help with lactation, adjustments and sleep schedule for my older baby, and generally help us get adjusted in the early days at home with 2 under 1. If you are available next week, we may also need help with shopping and gathering supplies and baby items, and setting things up for baby, we werent able to bring anything with us to OKC and are starting over. I do have soonercare and if you are licenced it would be a plus as some of the visits will be covered by them, but we willing to work out a cash arrangement weekly as well. We are looking for a birth doula to accompany us with our second baby. 1st baby came into this world at home with no medical interventions and was not a water birth. Birth plan would look the same now, although we are also open to water birth. Budget under 1000 CAD. Im planning an at home water birth at a family members house along the ocean in campbell river, bc. I have a midwife team- "Team Ocean"- and I want it to be as calming, natural, spiritual as possible. I'd like to avoid the hospital as much as possible, that being said i am also 39 years old and this is our first. Im just looking for guidance for ease and wonder what sort of costs having a doula would be.

I’m supposed to have a hospital birth but they aren’t allowing VBAC. I would really like one. If that means a home birth I’m all game. I’d like to do a payment plan and have a max of only spending $1,000. I just want a relaxed environment with not a lot of stress.
