I would like to give birth at the hospital near me, but would like to labor as long as I can at home first. I do not want an epidural, but I want tips for breathing etc that can help me through the birthing pains. I haven’t thought of a budget yet, and I’m looking for someone who takes our insurance.

As a first time Mom with no experience in births or hospitals or babies, the idea of having someone who knows what is happening and what is going to happen sounds like a comfort. I also like the idea of having someone come into my home with a new baby to provide suggestions on breastfeeding, sleep schedules, etc.
