My husband owns a business and will not be able to take extended time off, so I am looking for overnight support to ensure I can recover properly and be well-rested during the day for both my newborn and my toddler. My priority is safe, experienced nighttime care that allows me to heal physically while still remaining closely involved in nighttime feeds and bonding.

Hi - I spoke with my insurance Cigna and they confirmed I have 60 days per calendar year with 16 hours per day during this time for a postpartum home health care for me and my newborn. No prior authorization is required. They didn't call it a doula but they called it a PP home health care. They couldn't give me a list of eligible providers, I kept getting either a list of home health care providers (which included nursing homes or Lenox Hill Radiology) or OBGYNs. I would like to connect and discuss how we can work together.
