Find Postpartum Doula Jobs Near Barrie, ON

We are looking for a postpartum doula who can spend a few hours (approx. 4 hours) with us during the baby’s first week. It would be helpful to consult with someone during this time about newborn care, specifically nursing/pumping and anything else we may be struggling with at that time.

My hopes are to be able to change positions, use birth ball, distractions and possibly hypno birthing techniques to stay as calm and comfortable for everyone during this process. I am ever excited about my first birth and am visualizing a magical experience. We plan to deliver at Collingwood hospital. We live in cookstown, it’s an hour and 25mins away. My in-laws live near by the hospital in Wasaga beach. We have discussed staying with them as it gets closer to go time.
