Our son Brooks just turned 16 weeks old today and right as this occurred, my wife Bridgett also returned to work full time (I have been working full time since beginning of the year). Brooks is a sweet little kiddo full of smiles, laughter, and lots of vigor! He’s been partially rolling for a few weeks now but over the last few nights he’s been going back to belly on his own. Prior to this, he slept in 3-5 hour stretches but with him now transitioning to a sleep sack (likely coupled with a 4 month sleep regression), night time is a battle. He has great wake windows and never goes to bed with less than 24 oz but we cannot figure out how to settle him. He likely needs sleep training but as we both work full time, we need some help! My wife is currently co-sleeping with our 1 year old as we have really struggled with gentle sleep training techniques. She does not believe in cry it out, but we are really struggling, and she needs sleep. The little one has never slept through the night since the day she was born. I am having trouble with my 8 week olds sleep during the day since she was about 3 weeks! Her night time sleep is great, she puts herself to sleep and wakes up for 1-2 feeds and goes right back to sleep, but for some reason her naps are terrible she will only fall asleep for 5 minutes and then if i manage to get her back down asleep she only sleeps for 20 more minutes.
