I plan to give birth in a hospital. My estimated budget would ideally be no more than $2500. I would ideally like a doula that accepts Kaiser Permanente insurance. My birth plan is to deliver vaginally, unless that is not possible, and to do so with just the use of nitrous oxide and with an epidural as a last resort as I am trying to avoid tearing. I am seeking a doula to help support me through delivery and to support my husband through the birth as well.

I am looking to give birth in a hospital, however, will likely be scheduled for a c section at 39 weeks due to her being breach. My due date is 2/4/26. I am looking for postpartum support as it is just me and my partner in Colorado. I am looking for a doula that is in network with Kaiser as I get 11 covered sessions under them.

I’m interested in having a doula with me at my delivery to help with physical, informational, emotional, advocacy, & partner support. Things such as breathing techniques & massagesc, maybe affirmations or general help with anxiety. Helping me to understand medications & procedures also making sure I’m not being pressured into avoidable procedures & other things. Overall advocacy support, making sure my birthing plan is being followed. By partner support I mean helping my significant other be included & us both calm & level headed. Pretty much just another educated companion to help me have a better birthing outcome.

We plan on giving birth at the Common Spirit hospital in Longmont. Budget is $1000-$2000 depending on the services provided. Move Freely I want to be able to walk, squat, or change positions during labor to stay comfortable and help labor progress naturally. Water for Comfort I’d like access to a warm shower or birthing tub, as warm water helps ease pain and relax muscles.
