I plan to get a csection at mercy hospital in okc. Tight budget. Highmark Blue cross blue shield and champva for medical insurance. Mainly looking for some extra emotional support during and after the pregnancy. This would be my first time using a doula.

I plan to give birth at Integris Edmond Hospital. If my insurance could cover it that would be great. I would like a vaginal birth and need all of the support I can get. I have nobody as of now and it scares me to think I’m going to go through birth alone as well as postpartum again…

I will be giving birth at the chinook Lethbridge hospital in Alberta. This is my second kid, first birth experience was extremely traumatic for me. I spent 3 days in hospital getting induced, 12 hours of labour after my water broke, pushed for an hour, then emergency c section. I need someone knowledgeable that can vouch for me, coach me, and help my husband be more supportive. My birth plan is natural, most likely getting an epidural, and my budget is around $650

We are looking for a postpartum doula or sleep trainer to provide overnight care while we struggle to sleep train one of our twins. It has been two months since we tried sleep training and one twin sleeps twelve hours no problem, but the other still cries throughout many nights and it’s become too much for us to handle without overnight support. They were born on april 30th but their due date was June 16th (almost 7 months adjusted age). We are trying a new gentler method but it is taking some time to see if it will be effective or not. Hourly rate negotiable based on education and experience. Ongoing employment with childcare and household duties also possible once sleep training is successful.

I am planning to give birth at a Hospital, due to medical issues. I don currently have a birthplan.

I need a midwife that is CNM certified so that Tricare will cover it. Unfortunately we cannot afford a midwife on our own and need to walk through what our insurance will cover. We don't know our situation yet as far as a home birth or needing a midwife to meet us at a nearby hospital when the time comes so we would love someone able to do either one. One big factor in desiring a midwife is to have the personal care and time of the same provider at each baby appointment and to be able to reach out to that midwife at anytime if I have questions or concerns along the way in pregnancy.

I plan to give birth at BC womens hospital labor and delivery. I will be living on Bowen island, and am looking for night nurse services 2-3 times a week. Also for someone who can help provide some guidance during the first few months, help with cleaning, cooking and watching the baby when I need a break. Birth plan is medicated vaginal birth.

I need a safe space so what I say is heard before birth during birth, and after I would like someone that is sympathetic and easy-going I have a very hard at home life and it’s affecting my pregnancy now I have a high risk pregnancy and I have gallstones i’m not getting the best. I’m not drinking enough water and I already have a one-year-old toddler. I don’t have the best way of payment, but if y’all take any insurance, I do have Aetna. My birth plan entails trying more options instead of induced labor and epidural. With my first. I had very bad experience with both. I would like to try walking around and ice chips and any other way besides the epidural

I’m 3 days postpartum with a newborn and a 1 y/o plus a 10 y/o at home. Andrew (my fiancé) will be here until next week, then I’ll be on my own. I want to heal while carrying my toddler. By then, I’ll be about 1.5 weeks pp, and my parents might be able to come over occasionally to help. On top of that, my 10 y/o needs to go to school and be picked up, which is an hour drive round trip. I’ll need to load up both the toddler and my new born, and that’s a lot. I can talk to Andrew about it, but I know he won’t be able to do school runs every day. I’m also concerned about my sleep. The newborn is up about at night and I won’t be able to sleep when he sleeps during the days since I’ll have the toddler with me too.

I would like to have a weekly mom group I can be a part of. I live in Kansas. I struggled with postpartum depression with my last pregnancy. It consumed me for 6-9 months post partum. I had to take zoloft and attend weekly therapy consultations. I was on mental health watch from my doctors. My health insurance provided me with a nurse that called me once a week. It was the winter in 2020 and I was all alone. I had planned to breast feed and had all the supplies but no milk came. That is what triggered my PPD. I felt like I wasn't really a mom and I didn't deserve to have a child since I couldn't properly care for it. I felt like a burden to my baby and every single person I ran into (stranger or friend or family member) Their very first (or second) question was "Are you breastfeeding?" and I would just drown from my own grief and guilt of being clearly insufficient; and shut down completely. I dissociated and felt the walls closing in. This mental collapse made caring for a newborn difficult since I was not bonding with my baby I was just feeling worthless. And babies play off of the vibes of the mother. A calm mother will have a calm baby. A distressed mother will have a distressed baby. And so the snowball rolled. I want to be proactive this time around. I want to have a support network that feels real and authentic. A penpal? An online class with cameras so that we can all see each other? I plan to give birth at the hospital and my plan is to go with the flow. That is what feels the best for me. Planning and over planning something like giving birth is a mistake, in my opinion. I want to experience it as it happens. I want to feel the needs of my baby and provide my body with the mental support it needs. I want to have a caring nurse there who advocates for me better than even I can, because doctors can be harsh and rude and labor can alter moods/emotions. I watch "Call the Midwife" and I would love to have someone like that. But midwives are expensive and I cannot afford them. My income is about $40k annually. I do not have low-income govt assistance. I have health insurance through my employer. I plan to take 3 months Maternity leave.
