Exceptional Postpartum Support – A True Blessing to this first time mummy. I cannot express enough gratitude for Teneka and the incredible support she provided during my postpartum recovery. As someone who had stitches, her care and assistance made my healing process so much easier. She was always attentive to my comfort and well-being, ensuring I had the time and space to rest while also supporting me in caring for my newborn. One of the things I truly appreciated was how proactive she was—she never waited to be asked. She would top up baby and mum supplies without hesitation, making sure I always had everything I needed. She also made sure I ate properly and stayed hydrated, knowing how important it was for my recovery and milk supply. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail made such a difference during this critical time. Her warmth, knowledge, and kindness created a stress-free and nurturing environment, and I felt so supported every step of the way. I highly recommend Teneka to any new parent—she is truly a gem, and I’m beyond grateful for her care!

I have had a passion for the birth world for nearly a decade. It began in college when I worked as an Emergency Room Technician at a small town hospital. Although it was rare, we would occasionally have moms come in while in labor and I LOVED the excitement and thrill of the possibility of being a helping hand with a birth. This along with having midwifery care during my own pregnancies and births, eventually led me to began studying midwifery in 2018. During midwifery clinicals I was able to assist in many home and birth center births. I had the utter joy of helping mamas feel safe & comfortable, empowered to give birth in the way they desired, overcome obstacles, and see new life come into the world! I am currently taking time off from my midwifery training to focus on caring for and homeschooling my three precious daughters. This time off also allows me to venture into the doula world! As a doula, I will bring my knowledge of evidence-based practice and hands-on experience to educate, encourage, and support families in achieving the birth experience they desire. We had the pleasure of having Taylor as our Doula for our first born! Taylor was both supportive & provided essential childbirth education prior to my wife being in labor. This helped us know what to expect & what red flags to look out for. During labor, we truly do not know how we would’ve done it with out her. When labor began to intensify she stepped into action to make sure my wife was as comfortable as possible through different stretches, massages, and comforting words. Over the past few months Taylor was more than a doula, she truly felt as part of the family and felt like a critical part of our birthing team at the hospital. I couldn’t recommend her more and we plan on using her for all our future births!

I had a great experience with Dana as my doula. We didn't meet until the end of my third trimester because I decided I needed a doula at the last minute. Dana listened to all my concerns about the care I received, and even attended one of my last OB appointments. I felt that she was well informed about pregnancy and labor. I enjoyed going over my birth plan with Dana because she explained everything line by line. I went into labor prematurely at 36 weeks and Dana didn't panic. She came to the delivery room and I feel like everything moved fast. She set up music like I wanted, dimmed the lights, and helped my husband with positions. I was able to have a vaginal birth with no epidural like I wanted. This meant so much to me because the specialist I was seeing told me I would have to be induced and have a c-section. Dana made me feel supported and helped me feel calm during labor. I was able to make informed decisions about my care and not feel anxious going into labor. Even after the delivery, Dana got food for me and my husband and checked on us until we all went home. Our post-partum visit at home went well and Dana was able to get my baby to latch. I had a positive experience for my first birth, and I would recommend Dana to anyone looking for a doula.

My name Angela Lewis and I am a postpartum doula. I have chosen to be a postpartum doula because I understand the significance of creating a nurturing environment and fostering positive relationships with both parents and newborns. As a mother who suffered postpartum depression, I understand firsthand that new parents may need additional support during the postpartum period. Having a strong support system and providing a nonjudgmental space for families to express concerns about the birthing process, parenthood, and mental health is beneficial in preventing negative outcomes for the parents and the baby.

I am a birth and postpartum doula, NICU mom, and a military wife, whose passion for this work was shaped by my own early motherhood experience. I had my first baby halfway across the country during COVID, farm from family and community. That season taught me how powerful it is to feel truly supported, and it became the foundation for the way I show up for other families. I have had the honor of supporting friends and families through both home births and hospital births, and I love walking alongside parents through the many different paths birth birth can take, with a professional foundation in Kinesiology, I understand deeply how the body functions in pregnancy and birth, and how movement and positioning support physiological labor and how to help reduce strain and injury during this transformative process. I blend evidence based education with holistic, intuitive care to offer support that is both grounded and nurturing. At the heart of my work is a simple intention. I show up for mothers the way I would want someone to show up for my daughter one day. With warmth, compassion, and a steady presence, my hope is that every family I support feels seen, held, and never alone as they step into parenthood.

Highly recommend hiring Courtney as your doula. Our doula we initially hired had an emergency so we ended up having Courtney as our backup doula and she did not disappoint! We were a little nervous having a backup doula and somebody we’ve never met but Courtney was so personable, very easy going and very much was prepared for our birth plan and things we discussed with our doula prior to going into labor. Courtney was very encouraging, supportive and really helped my husband and I during such an intense and vulnerable experience. Thank you Courtney for what you do! It’s very clear that she loves what she does and it translates into working with her clients.
