Hi! I'm Katya, a labour, birth, & postpartum doula serving the Vancouver (BC) area ✨. I provide compassionate, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally-responsive care that is supportive, educational, and non-judgmental. You can rely on me for physical and emotional support, and to be provided with any and all information to empower you and your family to make informed decisions and play active roles in your labour, birth, and postpartum experiences. In 2024, I received my doula training from Cornerstone Doula Trainings and I'm in the process of becoming a Certified Doula(!). Since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2019, I have accumulated invaluable newborn and infant care experience in an array of preschool and nannying positions. Hi, I’m MacKenzie, a certified birth and postpartum doula! I’ve been serving families throughout King, Snohomish, and Skagit counties for the past few years. I’ve always had a deep love for birth, even from a young age! My passion and curiosity around feeding and lactation are what initially drew me to doula work as a career, and I’ve loved being able to support families not only through labor and birth, but also through those tender and often overwhelming early days at home. As I continue to serve families in their homes, birth centers, and hospital settings, it is truly an honor to be invited into such an important and personal season of their lives.
