My husband and I are both pediatricians (but specialists). This is our first child (a boy)! We plan to deliver at Mayo Clinic. Birth plan consists of a hospital birth, most likely an epidural, and we are open to the care that the doctors recommend. We would also appreciate someone who is communicative, reliable, and consistent, as that is very important to us during this stage. Our baby does not have any special needs. We are open to discussing a schedule that works for both sides, ideally a few hours per shift. Our budget is flexible but we are ideally looking for something in the range of $20–$30 per hour depending on experience and availability.
