Hi I’m reaching out because my over the phone OB said you are a doula that my Medicade will sponsor? I’m just trying to see if this is accurate. I’m wanting emotional and physical support before, during and after baby is born. This is my first child and would like another advocate that will help me through the process and will stand on business with these nurses. I know exactly what I want for this birth, and I don’t need them to tell me no :)

I’m looking for a midwife and/or doula who accepts my health insurance. I either want to have a home birth or a low-intervention hospital birth. I haven’t yet made an entire birth plan. I’m 37 years old. I’m looking for someone who is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and empowering (confident in my body’s abilities). My estimated budget is unknown.

I am looking for a doula to assist me in a natural home birth. Minimal intervention. Holistic views similar to mine. Im not sure of an average cost, so I would guess my budget is $1,500?

Hospital and need to take care of me during labor

I, mother, am about 7-8 weeks along and would prefer a water birth and as natural of a birth as possible. However, dad wants the delivery to be in a hospital as it would be our first. I need help preparing and adjusting to the new addition in our life. There are no qualifications besides basic life support for an emergency. The dad is a paramedic and very paranoid of anything happening.

Plan to give birth in the hospital naturally, without any pain meds. Looking for someone who can provide support during labor/help with positions as well as postpartum care specifically with cooking essential and nutritious meals to help with healing and recovery.

Would really love a home birth for baby number 2 but also a little nervous about it.

I need a doula to support my unmedicated birth at a hospital

I'm a first time mom, I'm thinking about giving birth in a hospital but still have my doubts. I'm wanting to give birth in a squatting/ bent over position. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO GUVE BIRTH ON MY BACK. And I would really like to find other way to get through the birth without an epidural, but if absolutely needed I'm open to it. I'm really wanting someone who can prepare my fiancé and I for our first child birth, and someone who can be in the room with him and I to be an extra advocator. Him and I have had lots of issues with doctors, of all kinds, and hospitals in the past. We are both very emotional people and just don't want to be talked down to or treated less than or forced to do things we do not want to. And because of our high emotions we need someone to be able to ground us through this and help us get prepared for this beautiful, emotional and painful experience.
