Hello, I’m expecting a baby in June 2026 and planning a hospital birth. I’m seeking a birth doula who can help me design a birth plan, advocate for me during labor/delivery, and provide prenatals, birth-support, and a brief postpartum check-in. My budget is around $600 and I’m hoping to find someone experienced with hospital births and comfortable working within hospital policies. I value someone who is respectful, supportive, and aligns with my desire to feel informed and empowered. Would like to labor at home as long as possible or even until delivery if able. Other wise hospital. Budget is at 3500 for both labor and postpartum services. I am currently searching for a doula and am seeking as much support and guidance as possible during and after my pregnancy. I am due in August, and this will be my second child after a 13-year gap. I’ll be turning 35 this year and have been labeled as “high risk,” which has left me feeling overwhelmed, confused, and honestly terrified. Aside from my age, I have not been given a clear explanation as to why I am considered high risk. My original OB-GYN, who delivered my son, passed away shortly after his birth. Since then, I was assigned to another provider based on availability. Unfortunately, my current doctor no longer delivers babies. He reached out to colleagues on my behalf, but I was denied care and advised to seek a high-risk provider—without being given documentation, clear reasoning, or even a referral to a high-risk OB. At this point, I feel lost not only in finding appropriate medical care for myself and my baby, but also in understanding my pregnancy risks and options. I am seeking a doula who is committed to helping me navigate this journey—someone who can assist with locating reliable medical resources, provide support during delivery in a hospital setting. I am interested in a VBAC, and offer guidance and care postpartum.

Hospital birth, first time moms, LGBTQ+ family, 39 years old, unsure of budget as just starting out, ideal birth plan is vaginal birth without epidural (and tearing) but I’m very interested in nitros as pain management.
