Lactation consultant for help with latch in person only
Hello, my name is Johnae and I really would love some help with my breastfeeding journey. This is my third child and I really would love to be successful in breastfeeding. She’s latching which makes me happy, however for a number of reasons, I believe the latch is not correct. I’ve supplemented at various times and I’ve breastfed for 1 week straight as well. I was unsure if she was getting enough because she was fussy after sometimes and would cry when I put her down. I also felt as though she was latched constantly ( feeding every 15-20 minutes for a big part of the day which was mentally and physically exhausting, especially because I began questioning if she was getting enough milk). When she would be given a bottle, she would not cry when I put her down and she was not fussy and would sleep longer overall. It made me think that I was not producing enough milk and that she was hungry when I was exclusively breastfeeding. She did make wet diapers during the week of ebf but the poopy diapers were maybe once a day. Also, when I pump the pump does not empty my breast at all. I end up hand expressing for so long which I read is not good for breast tissue and overall health. The breast pumps are both new and I believe the Falange size is correct for me. I just want to feed my baby breastmilk and I believe if the latch is fixed then it can get easier. I’ve read about the nose to nipple, etc. and I’ve tried so hard. I don’t want to give up, I just need help. I would like a provider who is a certified lactation consultant that has a good amount of experience. Thank you.
I’m 8 months postpartum and exclusively pump with a Spectra. For months I was getting about 12–14 oz per session. Over the last 4–5 days, my output suddenly dropped to about 4.5–7 oz per session. I’ve replaced my duckbill valves, I’m power pumping, and I’m eating and hydrating, but I’m still worried because I don’t feel like I’m emptying completely.

Northern Westchester hospital I am about 23.5 weeks pregnant Inquiring about a doula for birth and lactation consultant the day I come home
Hi, my baby is 2 weeks old. I exclusively breastfeed him. At the hospital I was told that I should see a lactation specialist. He has a shallow latch, sensitive gag reflex, spits up often.
I’m looking for a female lactation consultant that can come in person to help me figure out if I’ll be able to breast-feed. This is my second pregnancy in the first one I didn’t produce milk but in this one I have encouragement. I’m in tremendous pain in my breast and armpits and I had nipple surgery three years ago where I was told I won’t be able to breast-feed. I’m in the process of finding out if they stated that because it’s unsafe to breast-feed and they put something in my nipples or because they thought that the milk ducks will not work, which is very likely what I’m going through. I ordered the spectra S1 plus pumps because I was leaking today for the first time but nothing came out of the pumps and I’m not sure if that’s because my ducks don’t work or because I have the wrong size. I just need a lot of help and I think I need someone in person. I can’t even hold my baby because of the pain so I’m not sure what I should do and if I should continue trying or try to get rid of this milk supply.
I would like to give birth at my home with my family around. My budget is around 2000-3000. I would like a water birth that my husband and our daughter can participate in as well
