I will be giving birth at a hospital, I have a congenital heart defect. Im seaking out a birth doula to help speak up for me during labor as i struggled to do so with my first labor & delivery. Unsure Nature delivery with an iv port for magnesium post delivery. As my heart struggles to adjust to the blood volume post delivery.

I plan to give birth at Southwest General in Middleburg Heights mid/end of October. Budget is flexible as I am not sure what the average price range is. I have had a stillbirth and also an emergency c- Section. I would like to be able to move and walk around as much as possible. I had a birth plan for my last birth and it didn’t not go to plan at all. This time I would just like to be open to all options and not be set in stone on what I think I might want.

University hospitals Wondering if insurance covers

Hello, I am actually a doula (a newbie) working in Southeast Ohio. I was recently contacted by a couple in Athens Ohio who are looking for a doula, but they are both deaf. I do not know ASL, so I am searching for other doulas in Ohio who may have the skills to communicate with them and support them more effectively and who are willing to travel to Athens. I plan to birth at home for as long as I can then go to hospital. My first son I was induced at 39 weeks and that day was so long, stressful, miserable. My second came so fast, almost gave birth on the way. Just at 37 weeks. I want my experience to be more spiritual maybe is the right word? I’ve read and seen many wonderful sensual beautiful experiences, peaceful, and I absolutely dream of something like that. And someone that can help my partner actually get involved during the process instead of sleeping LOL. I have UCARE Medicare so I’m not sure if it can be covered or how that works

Hi Kayla! I'm a mom of 6 - we recently had our second set of twins, 5 weeks old. I'm wondering what type of post-delivery care you provide? As it was with my first set of twins, I'm finding it difficult to meet all of the babies' newborn needs (being held while I breastfeed one, holding or soothing to sleep, etc) while managing my own needs (food and water, haha!). I think we just need some help for a few weeks during the day while my husband is at work. Is this something you do?

Doula to help with my wants and needs during delivery

At home water birth in the living room. I need a midwife who accepts blue cross blue shield Arkansas. This is my first pregnancy, I need someone who will be active and available.

I plan to have my baby at a hospital. I am not really educated on how much a doula is so I don’t have a price preference at the moment. I would love to have a unmedicated birth meaning no pain management meds or Pitocin if it can be avoided.
