Hospital Not sure on budget I want to go into labor naturally (no inducing). I Plan to deliver naturally with minimal intervention (unless necessary for my health or the baby’s).

I plan to give birth at a local hospital I do not have a budget as of current but I was hoping not to spend more than a few thousand. I would love to have a natural birth if possible with delayed cord clamping and minimal disruption by L&D staff - I want this experience to be as peaceful as possible, especially because I do not plan to use medication.

Im seeing if there is a possibility of me having a doula covered through Medicaid. I’ve had 2 birth center and 2 home births and am considering my first hospital birth.

I am looking for a doula that can help prioritize my birth plan and focus on my needs during the birth, while the OB focuses on the baby. I would really like to give birth vaginally and am looking for someone who values modern medicine but can also help keep things as natural as possible if it is safe. I’m looking for someone who will advocate for me when things get crazy in the delivery room and who is willing to coach me through labor and help support my husband in supporting me. I am currently hoping to give birth un medicated, but I am open minded as I have never experienced labor before. I know I will want delayed cord cutting and breastmilk only. I would also like to learn about different birth positions and reduce the risk of tearing and as natural as possible birth if the placenta.

My husband and I are moving to Maryland from out of state during my 3rd trimester. (Military family!) My first pregnancy was high risk and we spent 8 weeks in the nicu with my daughter. I am looking for a birth doula who can help me both figure out a birth plan, as well as coach me through a more “normal”/typical birth experience. I’m not opposed to pain management, but would like to try to attempt all natural. (I managed this with my last daughter, but my labor was induced, came on very very fast, and she was just under 5 lbs!)

I plan to give birth at home I want my husband to cut the umbilical cord. I want dim lights I want a water birth.

First time mom, just relocated from Asia, giving birth in a hospital, will probably get an epidural cause have low blood pressure and might pass out from pain then they might do a C-section. Trying t avoid a C-section as much as possible.

As of today, I am planning to give birth at GMBC, I am an OB who practices at their campus in Towson, MD. I am relying heavily on my two insurance plans and am willing to pay the copays/what they do not cover. I also have not drawn up or outlined a birth plan. I do know I do not what to be induced unless absolutely necessary (AKA Pitocin pressured) and I am open to an epidural. I am really looking for someone I can rely on to educate both parties involved being my significant other and I and my mother who are at this moment who I want present for the birth. And more importantly enforce boundaries from a more medically trained/educated standpoint on my behalf and with my health/survival in mind. I also would love someone who is especially experienced with the mental health aspect of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
