1. Hospital 2. Unknown 3. Natural birth with little to no intervention
Westover Hills Baptist Hospital, San Antonio, TX Budget: $5,000 Birth plan: unmedicated birth, no cord traction, delayed cord clamping
Looking for a birth doula
Hospital birth, I am not sure of my budget yet, I don't really have a birth plan yet
I plan on giving birth at the hospital, I am yet to decide on birth plan.
Hospital Not sure I just want an safe healthy delivery with no epidural
I’m looking to see if there is a midwife who does home births. Im currently scheduled for a hospital birth but idk if it’s too late to switch and if it is I am doing research for my next birth. I have Aetna Star medicaid. My goal is as low interventions as possible with as natural and physiological birth as possible.
I need a doula to help me advocate for myself within the hospital setting & also prior to the hospital as I wish to labor at home for as long as I can before having to push and deliver. I plan on purchasing a birthing pool for extra comfort during labor, prior to going to the hospital as this will be my first baby. The birth will take place at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills, 5106 W. Loop 1604 N., SA-TX, 78251 My estimated budget is $1000-$1500 I want as little medical intervention as possible. No medications & no inductions. I want to birth in whichever position feels most natural for my body. I don’t want to birth on my back. I do not want an IV. I do not want the baby to be taken from me after birthing as I wish to have immediate skin to skin. I do not want the baby to be bathed. I want to wait for cord clamping, until the cord turns white, and I want my husband to cut the cord. I do not want the baby to be taken from my sight or from my room for any reason at all. I do not want any medications to be administered to me or the baby post birth, including Vit. K, Hep. B, & Eye cream. I want dim lighting. I want to be able to walk around if I feel the need. I do not want frequent cervical checks.
A birthing center Low cost 👀 My birth plan is to sneeze and the baby just slides right out. Haha just kidding. I’m not too sure on my birth plan. This isn’t my first pregnancy and I went through the traditional obgyn/hospital route with my first and I hated it. Never thought they were listening to me and I was induced and I just want to do it and experience labor for my last baby. If that makes sense. I need guidance
I plan to give birth at the methodist hospital in San Antonio Texas. I don't have a budget
I need a safe space so what I say is heard before birth during birth, and after I would like someone that is sympathetic and easy-going I have a very hard at home life and it’s affecting my pregnancy now I have a high risk pregnancy and I have gallstones i’m not getting the best. I’m not drinking enough water and I already have a one-year-old toddler. I don’t have the best way of payment, but if y’all take any insurance, I do have Aetna. My birth plan entails trying more options instead of induced labor and epidural. With my first. I had very bad experience with both. I would like to try walking around and ice chips and any other way besides the epidural
Hi I’m Caroline! I’m 27 years old, due November 25, an army wife, and this baby will be my first. I am nervous about a few aspects of birth-I’d like someone who can help guide me and tell me my options, help me labor as much as possible at home, and can help advocate for me in the hospital while helping me make informed decisions. Unsure about whether I want natural or epidural; I would prefer natural at this point but I’ve never experienced birth pain before so I want the ability to be flexible. Since I’m an army spouse, I’d need someone who can join me on post at BAMC. Based on other friends experiences, my expected budget is somewhere around $1,200. As far as birth plans go, I don’t know much since I’m still very early on. I do hope to labor as much as possible at home as I’m pretty scared of hospitals. I’d love to hear what some options are for birth plans.
I plan to have a home birth with doula. This will be my second birth- I had my first one at a birth center.
I am 100% unprepared and over whelmed. I don’t really have a birth plan yet but have a rough idea. We will be in a hospital and I don’t have any idea what this will cost. Looking for someone that can help in the hospital and at home afterwards. It will be just my husband and I. All my family is out of state. This is my first baby and I have no idea what I am doing or what is going on at this point lol…
Midwife in San Antonio Texas to help deliver my baby
I am looking for an affordable doula who works with first time moms. I plan on having a Hospital birth and am wanting someone who supports me during birth.
I plan to give birth at a hospital, I would like to use as little medical intervention as possible. No pain meds, delayed cord clamping. I am high risk but only due to my age, 42. For postpartum we are looking for light cleaning and help with meals. We prefer a provider who has experience advocating for Black mothers. Also a woman of Christian faith is preferred but not required.
Looking for a doula that’s covered by Medicaid. I will be giving birth at a birthing center in Austin. However my first born will be at home with my sister and looking for extra support for her while I’m in labor. Home is located in San Marcos.
I am planning on delivering in a hospital and would like a doula to help me with managing pain and being an advocate for my wants and needs.
