Birth/Postpartum Doula at Belly First Concierge Supporting Families In Maryland, DC, VA! Amanda, a DMV native and the mother of three, knew early on in life the importance of support during and after pregnancy. As a child she was always fascinated with birth shows on TV and knew her calling would be within the birth world. She decided to become a doula, given the circumstances surrounding her own births and postpartum experiences. With a background in customer service, she goes above and beyond for the families she supports. In 2017 she started supporting families as a birth/postpartum doula. Her goal is to empower you during your journey, and to provide you and your family with the tools, support and knowledge needed to navigate your new normal. She truly lives by the motto, “It takes a village.”

Hello, my name is Sherri, and I am a self-proclaimed Birth Nerd! I was born with a love for all things birth related. My passion increased after working in healthcare for over 20 years as a National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and IV infusionist in busy Rheumatology and OB/GYN practices. I started my master’s program in 2014 and earned my degree in Health Education and Health Promotion in 2016. That same year, I become a Health Education Specialist with a focus in maternal and fetal health and human lactation. Shortly thereafter, with continued coursework, a Doula was born. I have been a Doula for family and friends for many years, so naturally I wanted to share this passion with other birthers in the world. It is truly a blessing to bear witness and hold space for someone during one of the most empowering and vulnerable times in their life. At B2B, we believe that everyone should have the birth experience that they desire. Whether your choice be a natural, unmedicated birth, a medicated birth, or a belly birth (Cesarean birth), we will RESPECT your right to choose. We will educate you on how to advocate for the birth you deserve. When I’m not at a birth I enjoy spending time with my husband (retired Naval Officer), my 3 amazing kids plus bonus son in love, and my 3 beautiful grandbabies. I also love reading, traveling, and cooking traditional cuisines from countries that I have visited.

Hi, I currently have 2.5 years nannying & babysitting. Also, 1.5 years in child care centers as an assistant teacher. Throughout my experiences with working in child care and also opening my own family child care I have accumulated 9+ certifications. My ages of expertise is 0-3 years old, I have work experience with children up to 6 years old. Lauren is a trained postpartum doula certifying with CAPPA and holds a master's degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she researched perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infant feeding, equity & doula care. She also co-chairs the Board of Directors for Postpartum Support International's Maryland Chapter. Most importantly though, she's a mom of 3. She came to this work after a frustrating and painful postpartum experience with her first born when she was a young mom. After birthing her first two children within the traditional OB/GYN hospital system, she decided to have an unmedicated, Midwife-attended home birth with her 3rd. Each birth and postpartum experience taught her something new, and she welcomes all families - no matter their choice of medical care or arrival to parenting - to her doula practice. When she's not busy researching and working with families welcoming new babes, she loves being outside in nature with her family, singing in the car with the windows down, and reading.

Hi All! I am a certified, postpartum and birth Doula serving the DMV area. I have always been a natural servant/caregiver, and a professional one as well. I became a postpartum Doula because my passion is to serve mothers and validate their feelings about motherhood all while teaching and providing needed assurance and information. I have been a caregiver for six years now, and I have been a postpartum Doula for the last two years. I have worked with preemies, special-needs babies, multiple babies at once, overnights and daytime clients. I have served over 40 families, including personal clients as well as agencies. My clients would say I am professional, gentle, timely, knowledgeable, and persistent, caring and dependable.

Aliyah is amazing! She has been our doula for over 3 months now and we love having her! She has become a part of the family! She is so caring with our little one, helps around the house, and gives us good tips and ideas on what we can do as parents or to help our little one. She is definitely someone you can trust in your home and to take care of your child! She has great instincts and very knowledgeable. She is always on time and accessible even after hours if you have a question. She is 10000% dependable. She is always kind, respectful, has a positive attitude, and very cheerful. Can't recommend Aliyah enough! Anyone would be lucky to have her help!

Hi everyone, my name is Tatiana Walker AKA Tati and I am a Full Spectrum Doula in the D.C, Maryland and Northern Virginia areas. I have been drawn to the birth world for so long it has essentially become a part of me. I believe with the right support and knowledge every birth can feel magical even when nothing goes according to plan. Everyone deserves a birth story they can look back on and feel no regrets and I hope to give every client I have exactly that by teaching them how to manage their pain, concerns, and fears. Outside of the world of birth I enjoying lounging with my cats and seeing family.

I had my first baby with Tati as my Doula and she was so helpful in the delivery room. At times I would freak out and forget how to breathe and she would rush over and remind me of my breathing techniques and or try and get me to laugh so I was forced to take a breath.

Since 2015, I have served clients as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. In 2021, I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have served over 80 clients having vaginal births after caesarean (VBAC)  planned/unplanned C-sections, vaginal medicated and unmedicated births. I assisted close to 150 families as a postpartum doula, helping them adjust to parenthood with daytime or nighttime visits. I love assisting at births but the greatest joy for me is postpartum work. Families are under prepared for the changes that come during the first 3 months after birth. Having a guide makes the 4th trimester much smoother.
