This is my first pregnancy, so I’m looking for someone who can guide me and my partner through the process, be an expert sounding board, and to advise us. I have not confirmed just yet but will likely give birth at UMass Memorial in Worcester. My insurance Cigna covers Doula services so hoping to leverage this for payment. I ideally want a natural birth but want to connect with the doula for advice.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. Estimated budget $1,000 - $2,000. For our birth plan, I plan to go natural and do breathing techniques and manage the pain on my own. If I need intervention then I may opt for Epidural. But I still would like to be in positions fitted for having the epidural. I do not want to labor on my back. I would like for our birth to be peaceful and beautiful.

I am looking for assistance with breastfeeding from a IBCLC that takes BCBS insurance. Madeleine (2 weeks old) has trouble with a shallow latch and is clicking when she feeds. Her feeds are very short which results in frequent feedings. I plan to introduce a bottle soon but want to make sure breast feeding is well established.

My baby had lip, cheek and tongue ties when she was born. She had them cut at 4 weeks old. We struggled with latching and because she wasn’t eating enough, I completely stopped and switched her to formula. I tried to exclusively pump but mental health was so bad, I just couldn’t keep up with trying. My supply isn’t completely gone but my baby won’t latch without a nipple shield.
