Hi there! My husband and I are both active duty Navy. I will have to give birth at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Our budget is $3,000-$5,000. My plan is to deliver vaginally with as little invention as possible. I am open to Nitrous gas while pushing but I’d really like to avoid epidural at all. I am more interested in 4th trimester care as I’d like to breast feed. |

Budget is under 2k. Christian doula is important to me. I’m open to home birth but I’m also considering giving birth at novant kernersville nc. This is my second baby. I have birth trauma from my first. I’d like a doula my age or older (30 years) and someone who has given birth themselves before. I want to go no epidural but maybe laughing gas. Epidural stopped working on me last time so I don’t want another. |

Location: Greeneville, TN, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: February 03, 2026
First time momma planning to breastfeed exclusively and need to be connected with a lactation specialist in case I have struggled. 1. Home birth 2. I have no idea. I’m already spending so much out of pocket because I’m giving birth at home. If any insurance coverage can be taken I need that. I have BCBS-IL (blue cross blue shield of Illinois) 3. As intervention free as possible. Basically have asked my midwife to be a birth keeper unless I need her. Plan to have min 2 hrs skin to skin and allow baby to do the breast crawl and self latch. |

Tewanda is looking for Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Durham, NC 27710, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 03, 2026
I am seeking a birth doula and lactation consultant to support me through a planned hospital birth and the immediate postpartum period. I value evidence-based guidance, emotional reassurance, and hands-on support that respects my autonomy and preferences. I plan to give birth in a hospital setting and would like a doula who is experienced navigating hospital environments, collaborating respectfully with medical staff, and advocating for patient-centered care. While I am open to medical interventions if they become necessary, my goal is to have a low-intervention birth whenever safely possible. I am particularly interested in comfort measures such as breathing techniques, movement and positioning, massage, counterpressure, and continuous emotional support during labor. Clear communication, calm presence, and the ability to help me and my partner understand options in the moment are very important to me. My estimated budget for doula and lactation support is moderate and reflects the value I place on experience, availability, and continuity of care. I am open to discussing packages that include prenatal visits, on-call labor support, postpartum follow-up, and lactation assistance. My birth plan emphasizes informed consent, flexibility, and feeling supported and heard throughout the process. I would like support creating a calm birth environment, minimizing unnecessary interventions, and encouraging immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth when possible. I also value support for my partner so they feel confident and involved during labor and delivery. In addition, I am seeking a lactation consultant who can provide both prenatal education and postpartum, hands-on breastfeeding support. I would like guidance with establishing breastfeeding, ensuring a proper latch, understanding feeding cues, and troubleshooting common challenges such as soreness, supply concerns, or newborn feeding issues. I am interested in evidence-based, nonjudgmental support that aligns with my feeding goals while remaining flexible if circumstances change. Overall, I am looking for professionals who are warm, knowledgeable, inclusive, and respectful, and who can provide reassurance, practical tools, and advocacy to help me feel confident and supported throughout birth and early feeding |

Anna is looking for Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Talbott, TN 37877, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: October 27, 2025
I had my son on October 27. I have been pumping and latching due to, I believe to be, a shallow latch and oversupply. Have been getting constant clogs, which I do know can possibly lead to mastitis. My right breast formerly has a clog and is starting to get red on and around said area. My nipples are cracked, dry, and hurting but nothing I do seems to be helping |

I need help with my pump , and supply. I seem to only get about 2 ish ounces per pump except when I sleep throughout the night and pump after 5+ hours then I get between 4/5 combined. Im not sure if im using the correct flange size, the hospital sized me and said a 24mm but ive switched it a couple of times, nothing feels “right”. Also Ive been eating oats, protein, and drinking water every day , wondering why I dont have more of a supply yet. |
