Must have at least one of the following: - Medicaid approval to provide doula services in their state - An active doula certification from an eligible certifying organization - A certificate of completion from an eligible doula training program and three years of experience They must also have all three of the following: - An active certificate in adult and infant CPR from an eligible certifying organization - At least $1 million in liability insurance from a reputable insurer - Client and professional references

Hello! Im looking into a lactation consultation for my 1 week old newborn, preemie baby. We’re looking for some overall feeding support for our newborn. I’m currently exclusively pumping and have an oversupply, so I’d love help figuring out how to manage my supply, pumping schedule, and milk storage/tracking. We’re not particularly focused on getting him to latch/breastfeed, but would really like help with bottle feeding — finding the right bottle/nipple flow, feeding techniques and timing, and helping him take more consistent/effective feeds during the day. He’s getting enough overall across 24 hours, but tends to take smaller/inconsistent amounts during the day and make up for it at night. We’d love someone who can watch him feed and help us develop a better overall feeding rhythm.

I plan to give birth in a hospital (not sure where yet). This is my first child. I only speak English. I would like someone more experienced. Depending on price, I would be interested in someone experienced in sleep training, and open to light cleaning, cooking, & laundry.

I'm currently exploring postpartum support to help me and my husband get settled in at home with our first baby. This might include lactation consulting, advice on newborn care, and light housework during birth recovery. Support with cooking postpartum meals would be a great bonus. We'd like someone with at least a bit of experience (1+ year/a handful of families) since we are brand new to this! I am estimating my budget to be $2000 but may update.
