Hello! I'm a first time mommy to be! I plan to give birth in the hospital. I'm looking for someone that will be caring, calming, welcoming, and supportive that will be there from triage to recovery. My birth plan consists of having a low calming environment. I prefer things to go as smoothly and safe as possible.

I am looking for a very experienced doula who can help my husband and I prepare for a hospital delivery. It is important for me to have someone with a calming presence who can guide my husband and I through the birthing process. I would like to labor on my own for as long as possible before getting an epidural(if needed) so having someone there to help with this would be beneficial.

I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal. Prefer experience with Velamentous Cord Insertion (VCI) and advanced maternal age. Also prefer Doula who accepts medicaid (Jefferson Health Plans) but not a requirement. Thank you!
