I am looking to attempt a vbac and I need some support for that. I know that having another c-section is possible but I want to try to avoid if possible. I plan to gift birth in a hospital due to the fact that a repeat c-section is a possibility. All I want is a safe and healthy birth experience. |

Blythe is looking for Birth Doula
|
Location: Boise, ID 83709, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: July 11, 2026
I would like a doula to support me as I attempt an unmedicated hospital birth. I am fairly educated about birth however my partner is not and I think he will be in need of support as well to learn how to best handle birth and postpartum and sometimes people listen better to others, I am not staunchly anti epidural so someone who has experience with epidural births in case it goes that way would also be appreciated, budget wise I would like to be under 2,000 |

|
Location: Emmett, ID 83617, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: July 05, 2026
I plan to give birth at St Luke’s hospital in Meridian ID. I’m early in the process and would love to have insurance cover it but not sure what on the budget. I had a neo-natal loss and had an emergency c-section, followed by a vbac with a now healthy 2.5 year old. I was induced by a balloon and then pitocin and ended up getting an epidural. I would like a more natural birth and ideally would like to start labor at home and have more tools to do so and cope and have more ways to progress labor. My husband won’t have any TK E off so I am planning on laboring alone and looking for an educated support person/coach. |

Looking for a midwife , or doula to assist in the home birth of my third child. Ive had successful homebirth for my first , and second child ,almost a home birth, but the midwife felt it was taking too long and rushed me to the hospital , where I barely made in time for my daughter to not be born in the car . The experience was traumatic because my support lacked confidence, and expertise to endure at the very end which made me very fearful something was wrong which instensified the pain . I didn’t feel like I needed to go to the hospital , baby showed no signs of distress . Everything ended up being normal and healthy. I had to sign a waiver and meet with CPS to leave the hospital after not wanting to stay there for the standard number of days . Also having to constantly say no to all the newborn interventions like hearing tests and immunizations was distressing . I have Medicaid and found a great midwife , but unfortunately cannot afford the $2,500, copay that Medicaid will not cover . If I’m on Medicaid to begin with my financial resources are already very limited . Now I feel my only option, is a free birth. I want an unmedicated , no intervention birth . I feel my option to be somewhat of a free birth . I’m not against the medical system , it has its place and purpose , but not for routine childbirth. I have a birth pool and stool which have helped in the past , and am reading the “ the birthing handbook” to improve my awareness . I will be doing somewhat routine prenatal screenings , and a postnatal checkup through the medical system , to ensure the health of my baby, and I . I’m looking for someone to help encourage, and support me in my home through my birthing experience for a small fee . Thank you. |

I need to find a specific match for a doula that is covered by my current AHCCCS United Community Healthcare Plan. I have very specific birth plan needs that require avoiding many if not all of modern hospital interventions. I will be attempting a VBAC at the TMC hospital and will be having a physiological unmedicated vaginal birth without induction or a repeated c section. My anatomy ultrasound results came back perfect and all risks of uterine rupture or other things were ruled out by MFM and OB providers. I was told I am considered a good candidate for a natural birth. I am otherwise a healthy 36 year old female with no previous complications. I am needing an experienced and assertive doula to stand for my birthing plan at the hospital during my entire labor and birthing process. I request no medical intervention for myself or my child, including delayed cord cutting and retaining of my placenta. No shots administered to my baby unless medically necessary. I await the perfect doula. Thank you kindly. |

1. I am not 100% set on a hospital yet, I am going on prenatal tours at a couple hospitals this upcoming weekend. 2. Under $1,400. 3. Pre-labor I’d like the birthing process to start naturally, with water breaking on its own. Prefer no induction if baby is good and not medically necessary. During labor I would like to stay away from medications, no epidural, and try pain management such as bath/shower, massage, counter pressure during contractions, tens, breathing techniques. If medically necessary I am open to an epidural if I need an induction. During birth, I would like to feel the urge to push and listen to my body without feeling pressured by doctors or nurses in to pushing if i’m “taking too long.” I would love warm compress on my perineum during pushing to help reduce my chances of tearing. I want to avoid episiotomy, forceps, and vacuum. IF a C section is medically necessary, I’d like a moment with someone from my support team to process prior to surgery, my significant other with me during the procedure, skin-to-skin as soon as possible, and for my significant other to remain with the baby at all times to consent to vaccines and medications the baby might need. After birth I would like delayed cord clamping, skin-to-skin as soon as possible for “golden hour”, I’d prefer to feel the urge to push the placenta out naturally without any force from the doctor and I would like to see my placenta before discarding, I’d prefer all treatments with baby to be in the room with me or have my significant other or doula to have eyes on the baby, prefer to breastfeed instead of formula, not quite sure how long to wait for the first sponge bath. I’d love to hear advice from my doula in my birth plan, I would love to learn advantages and disadvantages of what I have in mind so far, I am open to feedback! For postpartum, I’d prefer limited visitors, ice packs, heavy duty pads and dermaplast numbing spray or whatever the hospital has that will help ease the pain down there, Id prefer to leave the hospital after 24hrs if it is not medically necessary for baby or myself to stay longer. |
