Our first baby is due this November! I'll be giving birth in a hospital, our budget is around $3,000. Ideally would like to labor as long as possible unmedicated, but deliver vaginally with an epidural. Would like to avoid a C-section if possible. However, I just found out that I may have coverage for a birthing coach and a lactation consultant that I believe could be helpful during and/or after birth! My budget is $1000 for a birthing coach, and a lactation consultant for $125 per hour, for up to 2 hours.
