I own and operates Mother Nurture Maternity, a private lactation practice where I provides breastfeeding education and support from the prenatal period all the way through weaning! I have supported pregnant and postpartum families for over 12 years in the perinatal space and my passion for birth and lactation began with my own personal experiences, birthing and breastfeeding three children, including twins. I committed to providing accessible, skilled, and compassionate breastfeeding and perinatal services. It is a great honor and privilege to provide customized support as an advocate, facilitator, and clinician in GA and beyond. Earlier in my life, I was an ER charge nurse in AL. After moving to GA, I worked in several critical care aspects of the hospital system. After facing health issues as a family in 2014, I left the more "western" mindset of medicine and began teaching classes on nutrition, emotional health, and holistic medicine. After taking childbirth classes and having 4 natural births myself, I developed a passion for birth and desire to protect the sacred physical and emotional aspects of it. I am completing a doula certification with DONA this fall as well as teaching childbirth education classes in the Acworth, Kennesaw, Dallas areas. I am a certified newborn care specialist. I started my career in childcare 9 years ago. I have previous experience as a babysitter, daycare teacher, and a nanny. I am currently completing my postpartum doula certification. I have worked with over 20 families as a newborn care specialist! I have worked in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana.

My journey began in 2014, after watching the documentary, The Business of Being Born. I was shocked at how medical and sterile birth had become and how unfairly some pregnant people are treated. From there, I spent the next three years devouring anything and everything related to birth. I attended my first birth as a doula (unknowingly) in 2017 when my goddaughter was born, and I fell in love with doula work. I married my husband in late 2017, and in early 2019 I found out I was pregnant with my first child. My pregnancy was one of the most enjoyable times of my life. I gave birth vaginally in a hospital transfer from Atlanta Birth Center, to Atlanta Medical Center in November 2019. I have my birth team to thank for solidifying my passion for other people to have the experience I was blessed with. ​I believe information is our greatest tool. I will provide you with evidence-based information from a holistic standpoint. Outside of being a doula, I love to travel. I enjoy visiting new and familiar places with my family.
