About me

Hello families! My name is Bryannah and I am a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist. My background started in pharmacy before pursing a career in childcare where I grew my skill set as a nanny and infant teacher. I finished my formal training in postpartum and newborn care after studying to be a perinatal mental health therapist. My joys of taking care of newborns and babies led me to pursue doula work full-time. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades for parents. I have a bit of experience in many facets of care including sleep conditioning, supporting perinatal health including mood disorders, and am eager to learn and grow. I pride myself on being trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, believe that pregnancy and birth can be healthy at any size, and work best in an environment that fosters parent/caregiver collaboration. The newborn trenches can be difficult and by no means is every experience “picture perfect” but I would love to be a part of your village and we can figure it out together one step at a time!

Service introduction

I offer postpartum and newborn care during the day and overnight. Daytime care can include services such as light household cleaning, organizing, baby/family laundry, dishes including bottles and pump parts if applicable, and supporting parent(s) through postpartum health challenges/referring out to services if needed. Overnight care is resting care unless otherwise specified. A flat sleeping surface to rest such as a bed or couch is required and much appreciated! Services overnight include feeding, burping, soothing, washing bottle or pump parts, flipping laundry (if that doesn’t disturb the family), changing diapers, supporting feeding choices (i.e. breast, bottle, combo), and safe sleep support.
