Shaelee, the night nanny that we worked with for a few months, was amazing! She kept detailed notes of how the night went with our baby, and was super responsive over text if we ever needed to adjust days of service due to sickness/extenuating circumstances. was given the opportunity to try the day services provided by The Family Foundations. We kind of got off to a rough start since Bryn had an emergency last minute and would have had to cancel but was able to find a replacement that came and helped with chores around the house. I have never had a post partum doula before so I didn’t really know what was expected from me or them. I was most interested in the meal prep option since that is one of the things my husband and I hate doing the most. Especially when you add a newborn and lack of sleep on top of regular household duties. Brynn was very apologetic of having to send someone else and offered an extra service to make up for any inconvenience which wasn’t necessary but very much appreciated showing how much she cares about providing extraordinary customer service. It was so nice not having to worry about what to eat for the next few days, having the refrigerator stocked, the dishes washed, and the kitchen and living area cleaned up all while I got to focus on taking care of myself and my newborn. I would definitely recommend The Family Foundations to anyone who is expecting. It is a huge stress relief to have those extra sets of hands there to help you during one of the most difficult stages of life.
