2nd pregnancy, looking for more support during the birth and potential help with breast feeding. My biggest support during birth will not be able to be there this time. I exclusive pumped with my 1st and would like to actually put more of an effort into trying to directly breastfeed this time. only thing in my birth plan is to try to go unmedicated again. i really enjoyed laboring in the tub with my 1st but would like to really try for switching up position when pushing.

Hello! My name is Ali! I'm currently expecting my second baby this June (EDD 6/18/26). I live on Wollaston Beach in Quincy with my partner, Jonathan and our 3-year old daughter. I am interested in working with a doula who can both support my birth (w/ midwives at Mt Auburn Hospital) and postpartum experience at home. Though my 1st birth went smooth enough, I feel as though I could have had an even better birth experience with support from a doula. I am planning to have an unmedicated birth in hopes that it will result in a smoother recovery and more empowering experience overall. Going into birth, I am most anxious/dreading the postpartum season.
