I plan to give birth at Mercy Hospital in Canton. First time mom with anxiety, adhd and likely autism while my partner is supportive and will be in the room he is kind of squeamish and not historically has not been the best in medical situations. He is a local truck driver but can be hours away during the day and the thought of going into labor/ at the hospital with out a support person terrifies me. He is also being laid off from his company in April (they are closing his branch) which means he won't qualify for FMLA and is at the mercy of whatever company he ends up being hired by in terms of leave for when baby comes and after. My ideal budget is no more than 1000 although I have seen prices a bit above that. As of right now my birth plan is minimal intervention and without pain meds. I really don't want to have an epidural specifically if it can be avoided...obviously baby/the birth experience can change things though.
I just want a more doula approach this time and for someone to be there to help throughout the birthing process.
First baby, planning for no epidural, birth center with midwife
I'm pregnant with my second Having a VBAC Desire a natural birth, as free of interventions as possible
Hi! We are expecting our first child, a baby girl, in mid May. We are so excited to meet her and wish to have a physiological hospital birth with no interventions or pain medications. We believe in God’s design for birth and wish to honor that as best we can. Our support person we had planned on having there unfortunately had to back out so now we are searching last minute for an available doula who can help foster the birth experience we are trying to achieve.
Canton area birth Natural birth Non-medicated Limited budget Preferred home birth
Hi!! Im really hoping for my second time i can be at home, in my bathtub hopefully thats my calm place already. We do have a small budget.
Need midwife for home birth and support. This is my first so I am looking for someone I can trust
I would like a doula that will be my advocate during the birthing process and help me with a natural unmedicated birth by positions, exercises, and breathing techniques. Also looking for a doula who is well trained in lactation to help support me and my baby with breastfeeding for the first time. I plan to give birth at SummaHealth hospital in Akron. I am still currently working on my birth plan so I could use help on that aspect as well, but I know I want to have an unmedicated natural birth. I am open to my budget but would like to keep it under $3,000. If possible I would like to use my insurance, if they accept doulas.
Planning to give birth in the hospital with minimal interventions. Hoping to keep budget to a few hundred dollars.
1.- birth doula and pospartum doula 2.-budget: open 3. i will delivery on june 2026 in akron general cleveland clinic
I would like to give birth completely naturally, but would like to deliver in a hospital. I need a midwife who would be able to deliver my baby in that hospital
Summa akron city hospital, $500, not sure about birth plan
I plan to give birth at Summa Hospital in Akron, OH.
I’d like to give birth naturally. I’m not really sure whether I want to go to a hospital or not. I want my child unvaccinated. I don’t even know what a doula cost, but I’m open to spending what I have to. I’m 42 and had two c-sections 15 & 20 years ago. I’d like to try for a vbac. I’m now in better health than I have been in since high school. I’d like someone who is a follower of Jesus Christ.
I will be delivering at Fairview Hospital in Lakewood. My budget is that it will hopefully be covered by Molina Medicaid. I will most likely be induced at 37 weeks because baby is on the smaller side and they want him out to help him. Hopefully a natural and not c section birth.
Akron General Hospital Covered by insurance Unsure of birth plan
My name is June Aiu (25yr) and this is my first pregnancy. I am currently 30weeks + 5 days and I plan to give birth at my workplace, MetroHealth Glick Center (Main Campus) in Cleveland, Ohio. My official due date is February 6th, 2026. My budget range is $1,200-$1,500. My birth plan includes: Vaginal birth (unless absolutely necessary to change based on emergency circumstances), being as active/mobile as possible during early labor, utilizing oral/IV push medications and breathing/meditative exercises for pain relief, avoid an epidural (if possible), utilize nitrous oxide after 7cm dilation for pain relief (if my facility has this as a treatment option), and delayed cord clamping (about 2-5min). I’d also like to keep my placenta if that’s possible. The only people I want present in the delivery room are the providers, the baby’s father, and my mother.
Finding a doula for my labor and delivery at St. E’s I plan on laboring at home as long as humanely possible before going to the hospital. Planning for a physiological birth. Possibly looking into postpartum help for a few hours after delivery as well.
Planning a home birth with as few interventions as possible, interested in utilizing the birthing tub. I am 12 weeks and have attended 1 prenatal doctor's appointment, but am interested in prenatal care with a midwife instead, if possible. Would like guidance and education, as this is my first baby. Considering a doula, too. We don't have a set budget at this time.
