I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. No requirement for second language spoken but I speak Spanish fluently and some Mandarin. My son is 3 weeks old and is currently exclusively breast fed. I’m interested in help with meal prep/cooking, laundry, and minimal cleaning around the house. I need more sleep during the day and would like baby care while I take a nap or two.
