Hi, I am reaching out for help for a friends family. A dear friend just experienced a stillborn/loss at 9months (through emerg c section). She and her wife live in Bel Mar and also have an 18 month old. I'm not sure if they are open to Doula support yet, but I wanted to start to get same names together for them if they are interested. Is this something you would be interested in/available. I believe she came home from hospital today.

I am new to the idea of having a doula. I would like to do more preparation work to hopefully have a smoother delivery. My first experience of childbirth, ended in a natural delivery that was forceps assisted, and I had 3+ hours of pushing before we decided between forceps or C section. I had to be induced after 11 days being overdue. I would hope that with this next pregnancy I can go naturally and have way less medications than I had the first time. I want to trust that my body knows what to do, but I need to help train it to achieve my goal.
