As a certified postpartum doula my journey to becoming a doula was sparked by my own experiences transitioning into parenthood and realizing how invaluable supportive and unbiased care during this time can be . I support new families during the incredible and sometimes challenging transition into life with a new born . This includes things like offering breastfeeding guidance , assisting with light housework and most importantly providing a listening ear and emotional support as you navigate the joys and challenges of this special time . Coming from a background in Early Childhood Education with over 35 years of experience as well as raising 3 sons of my own, I have a true passion for working with and supporting infants, new parents, and the overall family unit. I believe that the first few weeks and months of having a new baby should be relaxed and enjoyable and my hope is to provide the services to help you feel that way. I will do light household chores, meal prep, cooking, shopping, infant assistance, breast feeding assistance, emotional, and physical support.
