Hello, my name is Colleen, and I am a certified birth doula and licensed counselor. I started Resilient Roots Health because I wanted to expand my reach to women and families seeking a supportive, empowering, and judgment-free birth experience. My goal is to help you feel informed, confident, prepared, and supported so you can experience your birth as close to the way you envision it as possible. At this time, I offer virtual doula support, which allows me to fully prepare you and your chosen birth support person for labor and birth while helping you maintain the intimacy and privacy of having only your loved ones physically present in your birth space. Together, we focus on birth education, comfort measures, labor positions, breathing techniques, advocacy, communication with your birth team, and ways your support person can confidently support you throughout labor. Virtual support gives you the education, preparation, encouragement, and guidance of a doula while empowering you and your birth partner to work together as a team during your birth experience.
