Hi, I’m Cheyenne! I take great pride in the care and services I offer. With over five years of experience as a birth, bereavement, and postpartum doula and more than fifteen years as a professional caregiver and house manager, I am deeply dedicated to supporting families as they grow, learn, and navigate parenthood. I am also a licensed foster parent in California, serving the San Diego County community with compassion and commitment. I value word-of-mouth connections because they build trust and create a more personal experience, allowing families to feel comfortable reaching out with any questions. I am currently in the Colorado Springs (til mid Dec) area while my father is in acute therapy, and my brother and I are splitting caregiving during the day. During this time, I’m hoping to bridge the gap of not being able to work my usual schedule by offering nighttime postpartum support to families in the Springs. Holding space for new parents in those tender overnight hours would bring a sense of light and purpose during this month-long season here. I can’t wait to connect with you!

I support families as they transition home, offering postpartum care, breastfeeding and pumping guidance, newborn sleep support, and bottle-feeding help. I keep your home tidy so your days run smoothly and provide gentle education and resources when needed. I watch for postpartum mental health signs in both parents and serve as a steady, compassionate pillar during this tender, joy-filled time.
Cheyenne has such a warm, engaging presence, it was impossible to not feel her support as navigating my pre- & postpartum journey with both of my boys. Whether she was sharing tools and guiding me and my husband through them, empathizing with my anxieties as a new parent, standing up for my wishes with providers, or engaging me individually in support of creating the best environment for my boys to enter the world, I felt her standing by my side and rooting for me. Cheyenne has an indepth knowledge of pre- & postpartum navigation for both Mom and baby, and her collaboration with and referrals to other providers were So helpful on multiple occasions (for pregnancy massage to support baby being head down & lactation supports related to bottle refusal). I strongly recommend Cheyenne if you are considering having someone by your side for pre- or postpartum navigation.

We hired Cheyenne as our doula and she was an absolute angel from heaven! She helped prepare our house for home birth and ended up catching my baby when he arrived. During labor, she provided support and position strategies for my husband and I in the most peaceful environment while we waited for the midwife’s arrival. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, professional doula who cares deeply, hire her!

Cheyenne single handedly got me through my post partum journey. From our initial call to four months postpartum, she has never left my side. Our initial call started with lots of very intentional questions about my husband, and I, our relationship, our birth plan, any details she would need to provide to the hospital, and our preferences in general. She always wanted to make sure that our needs and wants were put first. The day that I delivered my baby she was awake at 4 AM texting with my husband through every step of the way. When we did not need her there physically and she was waiting to come to meet us, she was in constant communication with the hospital, making sure every need that we had was met. She came to the hospital as soon as we prompted her to and met us with such love and support. She brought me an entire postpartum recovery kit, guided me through feeding, advocated for me and didn’t leave my side until I asked her to. Once we returned home, she was there almost 24/7 by phone and text. When we needed her to come in person, she was there! She taught me how to put on my solly wrap, told me how much gas drops to give, how to put my car seat in the car….i mean things you don’t think will be overwhelming, but are. You don’t want to think, you just want to care for your baby and be present. I didn’t have to google and stress, and those simple little things I will always remember. I just truly can’t say enough how much her knowledge, kindness, and compassion throughout my postpartum journey mattered and made a difference.

Cheyenne was an absolute gift to me after I gave birth to my first baby. I truly don’t know how I could have survived the first 3 months without her care and guidance. Wheni got home from the hospital, she took care of me as I recovered from a 3rd degree tear. I could barely walk, so she made sure I was set up to take care of my baby girl. She cleaned, organized, and cooked for me while I snuggled my baby. She helped me shower and prepared my sitz bath and postpartum tea. I was struggling with the baby blues the first few weeks, but she made sure to check in on me and did whatever she could to make my life easier so I could focus on my newborn. After we made it through the first couple months, my baby was having a hard time sleeping in her bassinet. Cheyenne came to help me put her down and tried new things I hadn’t thought of. That night I got a 7 hour stretch of sleep. I get emotional thinking about how much her love, attention, and care made an impact on me and my family after giving birth. It is a lonely time if you don’t have a village and Cheyenne stepped in to fill every need. I’m forever grateful that she helped me be the best mama to my baby.
